The NJFFL is the ultimate Dynasty League…
It’s a fantastic league that needs strong, educated owners to draft and develop expansion teams from a pool of the best available Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams players. A separate Rookie draft is done to select the newest incoming talent every year. You will find that it is not easy being an expansion team and we understand that. It is not for the casual owner. It is an investment and needs to be treated like one. Our philosophy is that your team is as good as you make it. The responsibility and accountability is solely on you. We are here to answer any of your questions regarding league rules, format, gameplay and personell. We use a full IDP and Special Teams player format. PPR with a 40 Rd draft for Expansion teams.
Payment Plan – 1st Year 50% of the full league fee
2nd Year is 75% of the full league fee
3rd Year is full payment (2010 full fee is only $100)
Point System:
1pt per 10 yds pass, rush, rec, ret, etc.
1pt per comp, rec.
6 pts per TD (all), 5 per INT
Defense
5 pts per Sack, 2.5 pts per half-sack
1 pt per tackle
.5 per asst. tackle
5 pts per INT
3 pts per fum rec, forced fum
Special Teams (WR/DB/RB) usually in a flex spot
1 pt per 10 ret yds.
10 pts for KR TD
11 starters on offense (includes kicker) =QB, 3-WR, 2-RB, 1-TE, 2-WR/RB FLEX, 1-WR/TE FLEX
11 starters on defense = 4-DB (any S, FS, CB) and 7-Defensive flex spots for LB's, DE's or more DB's
Current Payout System (2009) - %'s are of the total collected league fee
-League Champion-40%
-Runner Up-15%
-Regular Season Champion-15%
-Division Champion-2.33%
-League Offensive MVP-4% (minimum 10 starts required)
-League Defensive MVP-4% (minimum 10 starts required)
-Offensive Rookie of the Year-3% (minimum 8 starts required)
-Defensive Rookie of the Year-3% (minimum 8 starts required)
-Manager of the Year-5%
Games are usually anywhere between 250-350 points per team. Also, Kick returners are money if you can get your hands on a good one.
