This sucks!!! Around this time for the last 4 months, by 10:30 I'd be gathering my final info and making all last minute decisions, now I'm just watching a Sopranos rerun.

The first Sunday with no FF always sucks the most!

Yes I am actually going to hit the gym then drive to Tulsa. Cant believe I am doing either on a sunday. I cant seem to watch football if I don't have players to root for ;(

Get into a no playoff league.

We do most wins at the end of regular season with points scored as tie breaker.

It's really not as ridiculous as it used to be now that NFL has made all week 17 games division games. Only KC is really sitting their main guys for sure at this point.

Hell, the entire NFC is up for grabs.

I wouldn't even of made playoffs most likely; was 5-5, got hot and now I'm in 1st at 11-5. Makes for an exciting finale.

I'm playing the 3rd place team with 10 wins who has me beat in points so for all intents and purposes, this is the "championship game"

I actually prefer this system to playoff leagues now. Especially since week 17 games are relevant now

Personally, I find it nice to have one week to just watch football and not care who scores a touchdown.
I can understand that. That's how I view the playoffs...

I am a Bills fan after all (15 years with last playoff game being Music City Miracle) :ptts:

I ditched standard leagues for daily fantasy game sites like Draft Kings/Fan Duel.

Much better to play week to week than a whole season for one cash prize.

Fantasy baseball prep time.
Fantasy baseball is the worst. Rainouts and WHIP? Two things that should have no factor in wins and losses but does.

Yet i still play, cause I'm a fantasy junkie.
1. Total withdrawal today. No idea what to do. Yes, I will be watching the games, rooting for the Ravens to get in, but after one of my better FF seasons in a while going through last week, it's a letdown for sure. Feel kinda silly being a 40 year old man all bored because my game went away for 8 months.

2. Can't stand fantasy baseball - for me H2H IS the reason I love FF. It's the win (or lose) every week, going against friends/rivals. I find total points only very boring as every score seems minimized as compared to H2H.

3. That said, what do you mean WHIP has nothing to do with wins? It is one of the (arguably THE) most telling stats in pitching.

I always love this week because I get to start watching tape of the best high school seniors and getting ready for the next 3 - 5 years.

Yes and no. Many games are still irrelevant and any players that are banged up aren't playing. Calvin and AP would be playing this week if they could get into the playoffs with wins, but they aren't suiting up. Detroit has thrown the towel in, some teams have banged up guys on D that aren't playing who would normally play. Week 17 is garbage for fantasy.

This. A thousand times this.
:goodposting:
Indeed! ...and not a f#@k was given that day....
I agree to a degree, but these games that have no bearing are like pulling teeth to watch. I think the posters upset about no fantasy need to not judge their interest based on these morning games. Wait until the chi/gb and dal/phi games, those are going to be entertaining and will make you forget about fantasy, especially if you have a vested interest and a team in those games to cheer for.
