You can always turn on NFL network to watch Eisen Marucci(sp) and Dsanders.. also supposedly ESPn is supposed to have boomer and crew on doing highlights during the 7oclock telecast of Sportscenter.

i know right!! i just dont understand why they would cancel the show!
ESPN did not cancel the show. NBC insisted on (and received) exclusive rights to the extended NFL highlights as part of their new "Sunday Night Football" package during the latest TV contract. They forced Primetime off Sunday nights. See the Wikipedia link above

NFL Primetime logoNFL Primetime is a sports television program that aired on ESPN from 1987 until 2005. It used to air every Sunday night during the NFL American football season and it preceded ESPN's coverage of Sunday Night Football. The show was hosted by Chris Berman, with analysis from Tom Jackson. Berman and Jackson recap Sunday afternoon's NFL games with highlights, statistics, and commentary.

Pete Axthelm was a regular from 1987 until his death in 1991. Through the show's history, other co-hosts included Robin Roberts, Bill Pidto, and Stuart Scott. Pidto was often the target of good-natured ribbing by Berman, since Pidto often did recaps of games of little importance. The position of co-host was dropped prior to the start of the 1998 season.

Rather than provide the usual package of scoring highlights, NFL Primetime presented extended highlights which also showed less dramatic plays. This provided context for the greater depth of analysis of each game.

When NBC acquired the rights for Sunday night games, NBC negotiated for exclusive rights for extended highlights during its Football Night in America pregame show. This caused NFL Primetime to be moved from its regular time slot to Monday night at 6 p.m. ET, preceding Monday Night Countdown. Chris Berman and Tom Jackson will not be hosting the show for the 2006 season, ending their 18 year run on the program together. They will instead provide voice-over and analysis to football highlights on the Sunday night edition of SportsCenter at 11 pm EST in a new segment called NFL Blitz. Hosting the new version of the show will be Stuart Scott along with analysts Ron Jaworski and Mike Ditka.

nevertheless.... im still dissapointed. nothing made me happeir then coming home from the bar and watching primetime. im not feeling nbc's show.

I also miss Primetime on Sundat night. I watched Gameday on NFL Network which I thought had tons of potential with Deion and Mooch (buth very entertatining guys). It sucked.

I think Primetime will be on before the Monday Night game.

NFL Gameday on NFL Network with Eisen, D Sanders and Mariucci wasnt bad as I thought it would be. They go into detail on all the games and have highlights galore....The commentary isnt as good as Primetime, and they dont go into the numbers like they did on Primetime, but the info is solid, save for Deion's opinions.

I watched Berman and TJ's new "NFL Blitz" show after Giants/Colts last night. Not the same, really, but the music is the same and it was still fun to watch.

Worth it if you are a night owl.

I agree. The show on NFL netwrok is TERRIBLE! Mooch and Deion do not make for good TV...Rich Eisen cannot save that show. Now the 2 guys that were working the show before that...especially the fat guy on the right...gold jerry gold!

The show I liked last season was when the NFL network would do 90 minutes...every game would feature the best part of their press conference with someone from the winner and someone from the loser after the game. It could be a coach, player, whatever.

I would have liked to have seen Bill Parcell's comments after the game...I missed them.
