Sorry guys, I'm just now getting over strep throat if you can believe that... Will return for week 7 hopefully with the full analysis on each game. Players I like this weekend though include...

Mike Sims-Walker

Wes Welker

Nate Burlson

Kenny Britt

Donnie Avery

Ask questions about WR matchups this weekend if you would like, and I'll do my best analysis. I'll be around most of the night.

Discuss...

First off, good luck on getting healthy, i just got passed that ####. YOur thoughts on the Dwayne Bowe @ Was matchup..as welll as Kevin Walter @ Cincy, thanks

Just a general question re: NYG Wrs, but after Nicks' performance the past 2 weeks, how long is it before he overtakes Manningham for the #2 spot?

ETA: This isn't a Q for just laughinboy, but anyone who might have some insight.

I like Bowe a whole lot more than Walter this weekend. Texans TE Daniels is stealing a lot of Walters looks. AJ, Daniels, and Slanton stealing looks. Bengals Pass pretty decent.

Not sure if this will happen this year. Not sure about everyone else, but I like Nicks more in the slot anyways?... Not sure if I like Nicks this weekend in case you needed to know. JMO

Any feeling on any of these... Desperate for a wide receiver 3 this week...

Mohammed Massoquoio

Chris Henry

Andre Calwell

David Clowney

Any other below the radar guys....???

A real sleeper, Bryant Johnson, it doesn't look like Calvin is going to play
The trick is trying to figure out who is going to get Megatron's targets. Both Bryant Johnson and Dennis Northcutt had eight targets last week.
Don't be surprised if KSmith gets about 30 touches combined this weekend. No Mega-Tron equals lots of running plays and dump off passes.

Like Britt and Avery this weekend. Caldwell I feel would be the best bet out of your group, simply because of the matchup. He's slowly becoming the Bengals #2 WR and the numbers support it. Strong possibility for for Caldwell to find the end zone this weekend in what should be a shootout.

I've got Jennings, Driver, Burleson and Bowe in a PPR league. Need to start 2. Do I start Jennings and Driver or put Burleson in for one of them, and if so, which one?

Gotta go with Jennings and Bowe here. Although I think Driver and Bowe kinda cancel each other out. Burleson would be the definite guy I would leave out. Not a big fan of starting two WRs from the same team no matter who the team is playing. Jennings and Bowe are the plays here. Good luck...

I agree to an extent. But:1) Culpepper isn't a check down kind of guy.2) If Green Bay goes up big, Detroit will have to pass down the field to stay competitive.I still don't have a good read on which Detroit WR to start. Maybe Kevin Smith and Pettigrew are the shark plays this week?

need 2

1PPR, 1pt/10yds rec, 6pts/td's

Welker, Burleson, Steve Smith(NYG)

tough decision for me

help appreciated.

Don't over think this one. Steve Smith (NYG) is the number one WR in PPR leagues right now. Jennings has a juicy match up with the Lions. Burleson may do OK, but you can't go wrong with the Jennings/Smith combo.

Anyone else think that the weather could be a factor in the KC game? Rain and 19mph winds concern me a bit. Bowe will be in for sure in one league, but I actually have options in another, so I'm keeping an eye on that.

Byes are forcing my hand, but I have high expectations for Hakeem this week (assuming Eli is a go). Obviously the Saints D is much improved and they've played very well in three games against the AFC East, but Kolb did light them up for 391 yards in week 2. Everything I've seen from Nicks is encouraging.

Sorry to hear about the illness, hope you feel better soon.

What are you thoughts on Olsen vs. Atlanta and Bryant vs. Carolina, no PPR. Thanks.

non-ppr; yardage and td league

right now thinking this order:

league 1-

jennings,

ocho cinco,

Steve Smith (CAR),

Avery,

Burleson

league 2-

Randy Moss,

Steve Smith (car),

Vincent Jackson,

Santonio Holmes

thoughts (except "wow you have some nice WR's")?

Again, I think you may be overlooking this a bit. Bowe is the KC's best player. I don't see them moving the ball without Bowe getting the ball. Unless you have better options, stick with Bowe. Good luck...

I think Olsen is going to start turning it around. The Falcons are pretty bad at trying to stop TE's. I'd be VERY surprised if he does not find pay dirt. The Panther secondary is pretty bad, and in a PPR league I would like Bryant a little bit more. I think Winslow will be the Buc player to kill the Panthers this weekend. Bryant, maybe 4-5 catches 60 yards, and maybe a TD. Just don't like Johnson's arm though.

Hey appreciate the help that you give on here. Sorry to hear about the illness.

I was wondering what you thought I should do. I start 2 WR 1pt per 10yrds 6pts for TD.

I have Steve Smith/NYG

Sims-Walker

TJ. Housh

Desean Jackson

Josh Cribbs

We get return yards so I normally start Cribbs at Flex but starting Cedric Benson there as my two RB positions are taken by ADP, and Jones-Drew.

Cribbs normally gets me around 20 which he should do again with Pittsburgh so I am looking for the other fill in. Or do you think I should play someone else then cribbs.

Appreciate your help.

So you like Bowe over Burleson this week? ARI gives up a lot in the air.

I'm starting Burleson over Bowe... Bowe's solid, but Burleson has been great with Hasslebeck and has a better matchup.... He keeps putting up numbers while sitting on my bench so I figure he deserves a shot... Now I just have to figure whether to bench Holmes for Bowe and get him back in!

I don't get the lack of talk about Santana Moss. Look at what No. 1 WRs have done against KC. He appears poised to have a huge game.

Moss has been very average this year if you ask me. They are playing their 6th ZERO win team. He's got 337 yards and two TDs through five weeks. We'll see how he does this weekend, but I'm not a fan.

Look what he did against Detroit. Sure, he's been inconsistent this year. He's played well against bad teams, though. He should be in store for a big week. I'm guessing 8/130 1 TD
