Sorry if this is a honda, couldn't find anything.

Just a few questions/observations from this week. I read Norton's EOTG with John writing that he expected Dexter Jackson back this week and Ndukwe to see less of the field. I'm curious as to why now that Jackson looks like he'll be out for the game, Ndukwe's projections remain the same.

You may have noticed that Jackson didn't get much love in the initial projections anyway. Even though the early word was that he would play, I never expected him to have a full time role or make an impact. Thus Jackson's initial projections were only something like 2-0. With the injury depleted status of the Bengals secondary, Ndukwe is a guy that is going to get on the field in some role even if he's not the official starter at SS. I mentioned this situation in the EOTG because at that time there was potential for Jackson's return to have an undetermined amount of negative impact on Ndukwe's playing time, thus creating a very noteworthy risk factor. Since I had already projected him with 5-2 and a pass defended, I didn't feel it necessary to bump him up any further than the 12.7 points that were already projected, especially considering the opponent. In fact I gave Corey Lynch the numbers I had initially projected for Jackson since I now expect him to see a few of those snaps. I may bump Ndukwe just a little in the final projections but not significantly. Best of luck to you this weekend,
