I hear he hurt his knee returning a kick- what is known

It seemed to be more of a head injury, and they were checking his body for movement, whoch he had. he seemed fine. They might hold him out of the last game, possibly, of preseason. And it happened on a 3rd down pass to him

Some sites have reported the injury incorrectly. He was helped off the field after taking a forearm to the chin/chest area on a 3rd down pass.

What I meant in the first post was, it looked like they were extensively checking out his knee cause of a head injury. Just checking his extremities.

D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons RB Jerious Norwood (knee) did not return to the team's game Saturday, Aug. 29, against the San Diego Chargers as a precaution. If he had torn something in his knee, he would not have been allowed to return to the sideline with a plastic airbag contraption around his left knee.
