NOT LOOKING AT RANKINGS ANY LONGER. (1 Viewer)

Who's with me?

Who else feels that they study enough football to no longer need an "expert's" rankings?

Looking at another individual's rankings just get me mad.

I know this is an endless debate, but at this time of the year, I pretty much know who I want and when I want them.

Also, this way, if I end up with a bad team at the end of year, it's nobody's fault but my own.

That said, 2009's best bargain will be Kevin Smith, and I will overpay for him (which negates bargain status, I know).

The numbers don't lie, and this guy is the 2nd best college RB EVER behind Sanders.

Pat me on the back right now, and bump this thread in December.

So... you're essentially just using your own rankings..

Join the club. Not exactly breaking new ground here.

If you overpay, does that still qualify as a bargain?

I use Rankings on draft days to gauge where other owners are at in their mind as to where they select their players, I feel using rankings is best during draft to see any trends that are developing. That is how i can tell where a player will be of value.

I pretty much know who i want also but i like to see my competitions moves when i look at my rankings

So i'm not with you, but wish you luck

There are a couple of owners that use the DD at my redraft league live draft, and they aren't hardcore enough to change the default settings. I keep a FBG cheatsheet to gauge what they are likely looking at picking and go from there.

Like most of us, I use my own rankings for my draft.

the herd mentality is better than going it alone, for the most part..I thought LJ would still be a beast in 2007 , following his 416-carry performance in '06.against what I was reading on every site, every mag, every forum, I thought LJ would have yet another monster season.boy was I wrong.he hasn't been the same RB since 2006.in hindsight,I should have listened to what others were saying..it's ok to have a guy feeling on a guy, but it's another thing when all you read is that player X is on everyone's short list of fantasy busts for the upcoming season.
