Though none are official, leaks of a some what "official" responses are out there.

Here are the ones I've seen....

Barnett

Banta-Cain

McGahee

Heap

Mason

Barber III

Hadn't seen Banta-Cane or Barnett until now, I'm suprised that the pats are letting go of Banta-Cane.
Patriots outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain [stats] has been informed that he’s been released, according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter. The former draft pick who came back to New England for two more years in 2009, is now a free agent.

Banta-Cain had five sacks last year. His cap number for 2011 was $4.5 million, which would explain one reason why he was set free. Could he return at a lower price? Perhaps. But as of now, the Patriots [team stats] are short one pass-rusher. And given how Banta-Cain’s playing time decreased last year, maybe this isn’t a huge surprise.

A few days ago, Banta-Cain had surgery on his abdomen, which was not supposed to cost him the beginning of the season. The assumption is that the Patriots made the call before his procedure.

It should be interesting to see what happens to Banta-Cain on the free agent market. He is a gameday-ready player, but his inability to practice this preseason could affect his prospects.

Per Schefter bye bye Roy E in DAL
I didnt think Dallas could cut Roy or MB3 without a massive cap hit, is there some clause that eases the pain for them?
Both ESPN Dallas' Calvin Watkins and NFL Network's Mike Lombardi report that the Cowboys will release Roy Williams.

It's time for Dez Bryant to spread his wings. Williams' play didn't warrant his $5.1 base salary, and the Cowboys are able to take a massive $12 million salary cap hit thanks to the new soft cap. Now Bryant is the undisputed No. 2 receiver and the talented Kevin Ogletree will get a chance as the No. 3. Williams is only 29 and will garner interest, quite possibly under Mike Martz in Chicago. Williams made his only Pro Bowl appearance in Martz's Lions offense in 2006.
Not sure what that means exactly but it seems they are willing to take the hit to save the $, and a "soft" cap makes that more palatable.

It means there's no penalty for spending.

Just an opinion but Dallas parting with so much worries me especially the OL. If they can't pass protect or run block all those toys are going to go to waste again.

hearing Steve Slaton will be let go.
He should not be cut. The great rookie season showed he at least has it in him.
And every season since shows that he no longer does.Simplification but I certainly wouldn't blame them for clearing the cap space. Word is they are gunning hard for Namdi and if his contract coming off the books made the difference, I'd make that move all day and twice on Tuesdays.

This year with the new cap it's about money. Green Bay can get almost $9million by releasing Tauscher and Barnett. I haven't gerard about Tauscher yet but expect it.

Love those smart phones.

Seattle Times reporting (per ESPN), that Seahawks won't bring back Hasselbeck. Cuts, BTW, are not effective until Thursday.

ETA - Okay, now Trey Wingo saying Hasselbeck notified Seahawks he won't re-sign. Firts report I heard sounded like the reverse. Same result, though...

I thought that had been concluded for a while.

Wingo called it a bombshell. :D Actually, though, on the special last nigh with Tim H, they were talking like Seattle was possibility.

But...according to Mike Brown, all these teams "made a promise" and should honor it. It would be rewarding those teams to just let them not honor their commitment...

What's that? It doesn't go both ways? You mean teams CAN be rewarded when they don't want players anymore but players' careers can be held hostage by idiot owners? Really? wow...

Re: Roy Williams and MBIII; the debit side hit of $12.1 million is a hit but not as bad as it looks in print because the credit side is the 9+Million they get back from the slary plus any bonuses that would have been owed (barber had a $500k one..not sure of Roy). Still, there is a few million dolars being eaten so there MUST be something in the new rules that makes this doable (maybe money is shifted..maybe the $3M exemption, maybe fear of being on the hook for salary THIS season if those players came in and then got hurt...). Dunno what it is but there must be something that at least makes this move tread water but it says A LOT. I think everyone knew why Barber would not be on the roster but if you're willing to lose money just to get rid of a guy..wow.

Yea, it's called the soft cap. I just wrote about it and was surprised while I was doing the research. Definitely makes things easier for teams wanting to get rid of high priced vets.

Davis and Marc needed to go.
Columbo has not been cut yet. Dallas is holding on to him until they reach agreement with Free. Davis does not fit the type of lineman that Garrett wants to use. He's looking for more agile guys who can block in space. Davis really struggled last year, actually getting benched at one point. Given that combination, its no surprise at all that he's gone.

Eagles won't re-sign Bradley, Rocca, Mikell, Harrison

The Eagles will not pursue any of their own free agents, including starters such as Stewart Bradley, Quintin Mikell and Sav Rocca and backup running back Jerome Harrison, the Inquirer has learned.

Other free agents who the team will not re-sign include Dimitri Patterson, Nick Cole and Max Jean-Gilles, all of whom played significant amounts last season, but struggled at their positions.

Mikell was long expected to be allowed to walk, especially after the Eagles drafted Jaiquawn Jarrett in the second round. and Rocca has been up-and-down as a punter. Somewhat more surprising are the decisions to part ways with Harrison and Bradley.

Bradley was considered a key figure heading into last season and was one of the most experienced linebackers on the team, but he didn't make a major impact in his first year back from ACL surgery and again ended the season with an injury. The Eagles like Jamar Chaney, who is likely to play either at middle linebacker or on the weak side this year, and drafted three linebackers -- though each was taken in the fourth round or later and it could be difficult to get them up to speed in a shortened offseason program. The move might signal that the Eagles will dip into the free agent market for a veteran.

Harrison was a nice complement to LeSean McCoy last year, but likely will want to find a place where he can play more consistently. His departure would leave another hole -- although not a starting one -- unless the Eagles want to trust the backup role to the fifth round pick.
