now that hipsterism is dead, post pics of your favorite hipsters (1 Viewer)

Hipsterism is dead? I need this to be broadcast on the Mpls/St Paul airwaves immediately.
d-e-d. dead.

was just in NYC. "normcore" seems to b the rage now. not a single hipster sighting during my time in hipster ground zero, Greenpoint Brooklyn.

Still a lot in the Bay Area techie world.  Waxed mustaches, oversized beards, small hats, tight jeans that are too short, etc. I saw a guy on my commute that couldn't have been less than 70 all hipstered out.  Pretty funny.

In or out, it doesn't make much difference.   The current hipster fad will simply be replaced by a different one.

What the hell is normcore?  A Google search brings up a bunch of Seinfeld pics.  Are people dreasing like 1990's Jerry Seinfeld now?

seemed to be the trend that i noticed. everyone just looked..... regular.

no way out weirdos serving me drinks. no leprechauns busking in the subway. nobody preaching the Neitzsche bible on the Highline.

"normal" is cool

Yea.  Not dead.

A few montha ago there were some hopeful articles posted by Vice, declaring that the hipsters were all gone now.  Right.  Some 22-year-old making 35 grand in Willimaburg has decided that they are all gone.

They will evolve, and change uniforms, they are still hipsters.  Hipsters always change their look, becuae they are hipsters (the name gives you a clue).  It's everyone else that doesn't change their collective look.

So I can go back to shopping at the gap?
depends if you're buying mismatched shoes, pink socks, shorts with suspenders, a fur vest, argyle ascot, fisherman's cap and a glow necklace there.

those things, while potentially fine individually, and probably available for 40% off retail, should not all be worn in conjunction.
