Now this is too funny. Titans Mascot to be sued! (1 Viewer)

from rotoworld.com:

"Adrian McPherson is currently suing the Titans on a claim that their mascot hit him in the preseason while operating a golf cart recklessly.

McPherson, the former Florida Mr. Basketball and Mr. Football, was waived/injured by New Orleans in September and isn't on an NFL roster. He might catch on in someone's training camp during the offseason."

Should the Mascot be brought up on some kind of charges for running over this guy and possibly ruining his career?

I'll start by stating that I am a big Titan's fan. The Mascot, T-Rex, is a big part of the game festivities and I'm sure the accident was unintentional. I imagine it would be difficult to see out of the outfit if somebody on the periphery suddenly appeared in the zone of operation. It is unfortunate that an accident occurred and I do not believe it is in the best interest of the parties for this to be pursued in this fashion.

The bolded part is the most damning -- if the costume occluded vision, the mascot should not have been driving a golf cart on the field with people present. The Titans are very much liable here, accident or not.

Agree, unfortunately.

PicI can definetly see how him driving would be dangerous. Heck, he kidnapped the Seahawk at the game I went to last year.

I'm not so sure how a huge fan thinks that's a dinosaur.

McPhereson has a rock solid case for compensatory damages because everyone knows he would have beat out Drew Brees for the starting job in New Orleans.
