New York based league in Inwood Heights, Manhattan is looking to fill a new startup keeper league. we have two open spots remaining. This will be an email draft with a 14 hr timer, scheduled to begin on August 1st, or sooner if the team owners wish to.

The cost per team is $100. All monies are paid out minus the $69 MFL site fee. The breakdown is as follows:

champion - $731

runner-up - $300

3rd place - $100

6 teams make the playoffs (2 division winners, next 3 best records, and the last spot is awarded to the team with the highest 'points for'!!! This ensures that the 6 best teams are represented in the playoffs!!!)

It will be a 12 team, 2 division league. Here are the broad stokes:

LINEUP

1qb

1-2 rbs

3-4 wrs

1 te

1 k

1 team defense

1 flex position (rb, wr, te)

Decimal scoring, high performance (points awarded for carries .2 per, receptions .75 per, qb completions .2 per, rushing/receiving yards .1 per, all TDS 6 pts.)

13 week regular season with 3 double header weeks (11-13). This allows every team to play their division foes twice and every other team once!!!

KEEPERS

Any player drafted may be kept at the cost of 2 rounds lower from when he was drafted. So a player drafted in the 10th rd this year would cost an 8th rd in 2010, and so on until you no longer have the compensation to keep him.

There is no limit to the number of players that may be kept.

In addition, each team will have one 'Franchise Tag' that they can use on any one player. That player may be kept indefinitely, year after year, but the cost of using the franchise tag is a 1st rd pick in each year that the player is franchised.

This provides a great mix of keepers while also allowing every team to maintain a 'face' to their franchise.

I am a 39 year old, soon to be father of 4 children. I run a fair league and expect this league to be around for at least the next ten years if not more. My other league is entering its 12th year. Send me a PM or email if you have any further questions. Thanks for your time.

Sounds good -- you can count me in . . . IF:1. there is still room

2. my overseas address is not an obstacle for you. My American credit cards and bank accounts are not accepted by PAYPAL because my billing address is in France. I will need to send you a 'snail mail' payment.

I am currently in 5 dynasty leagues. Over the last 3 years I have 'replaced' all my re-draft leagues with "keepers"-- this will be the 3rd and final replacement. I have never had any difficulty paying in 'dollars' or BEING paid in dollars.

This is my 19th FF season. I am retired and "soon to be a grandfather of 4." So, commitment or daily availability has not and will not be a problem.

The 6 hour time difference between Europe and EDT never presents a problem, either, because I usually PRE-DRAFT whenever there are only 1-3 slots away from my pick.

I would need your mailing address for payment. My e-mail :
