NY Jets at Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

Sammmmmmy TD.

Really surprised how slow the fantasy community has been to come around on him. Surprising because this offense is unstoppable. 5 Straight games with a 40+ yard reception. TD was inevitable. I've never been the type to put a lot of emphasis on own/start % but they're both waaaaaaaaay too low.
Even in the Steelers' thread.  Homers are slow to believe in his abilities and miss Bryant.  I've claimed from the beginning that I think he is almost as explosive and less of a liability (see some of Ben's INTs from last year's blown routes and lazy efforts by Bryant).  Yes, his hands aren't top-tier.  Neither was Terrel Owens'.

Glad to see DeAngelo getting some PT.  Don't want to burn Bell out right away.  Be nice to actually have him for the playoffs.

Cockrell playing like a real ####.
Was just wondering if Burns would be an upgrade.  Cockrell is not playing up to the level that he did last year.  Not that covering Marshall is an easy task.  Gay seems to be exclusively on the offense's right and Marshall mostly on the left.

Ball on the 1. 2 passing plays. Bell does not get  a carry. Wait 3 weeks for this guy to play and doesn't get to punch it in! Arrggg!!!!

Time was the reason.  Had their been 5 minutes left, and not 50 second, the play calls would be different right there.

Did we hear the reporter say there was something going on with Coates's hand? (Other than him just dropping balls...)

Yeah.  Bad laceration to the thumb / finger web of his left hand.  He doesn't catch well with two hands.  Not sure he can catch with just one.

Oh man what a monster game Coates could have had if he doesn't drop those 2 tds.

Still pretty happy

Time to get the Pitt TEs more involved.  How nice would L. Greene have been right about now.

Stick a fork in Coates for the day.  Left hand is useless.  Right hand isn't much better.

Need Eli Rodgers back in the lineup or L. Greene to snap out of early retirement.  Lacking a 3rd option in the passing game.  It's all Brown and Bell right now.

Pitt forget their running game again?
No.  Passing has been way more effective since the onset. The Jets formidable front 4 has done far better against the run then the pass.

In the first 3 drives it was a 14/9 ratio -- but was evident that passing was the better attack against the Jets. Since then its 23/6.

Yes, but pass, pass, pass, delay / draw isn't exactly trying to keep the run going.  Jets aren't respecting the run because they just aren't using it.  Passing game is extremely effective, but the threat of run keeps pressure off and opens things up for the receivers other than Brown.

Had they had any pressure on Ben, I'm sure we would have seen more runs. But until they do...
