12 pages is toooooo much to read.
But I'll throw down the gaunlet. Chicago Pizza is much much much better. NY pizza isn't even good. I remember my first time coming to NY and I was absolutely psyched to try out the "greatest pizza in the world". Went to my first place in Manhattan, and sat down to feast. Talk about disappointing. Brand crappy thin crust, bitter sauce, all flimsy. I've had better pizza's from crappy franchises.
I automatically assumed I had choosen the wrong place. Try #2 even worse, try #3 I finally asked the NY'ers I was with to help me out. Went to the "best" place - Sal and somebody - way to lazy to look it up. Same crap, add char - burnt bread to the bottom.
Understand, I get it if you're a NY person and you grew up with it. I have guilty love for Godfathers - and its really good in my town because its one of the originals and doesn't do all the franchise stuff. I love Runza's and Reuben's too, which nationally people would laugh at. (another topic - NOT a NY creation, its an OMAHA creation) But your kidding yourself if you think that crap is even top 5...
Also, if you've eaten Uno's anywhere on the planet besides the original Ohio st. That's not Uno's. Maybe the worst franchise conversion ever. (OK Taco Bell, but...) That stuff is teeeeerrrrible....I fear that people go there and thing that's what Chicago pizza tastes like.
