Just happened tonight. Play didn't even look that bad.

Awful break for Giants fans and IDP owners.

Justin Tuck looked really down in the dumps when interviewed by Kolber.

If Osi has issues coming back, this D could struggle to start the season.

Looked like a sprained ankle to me. Really surprised to see that it was a torn ACL. Thomas is a monster IDP player in leagues that require a CB. Tough break for him.

Aaron... Thanks for the info. Just a request, really to everyone- the mobile version of the boards does not display the "sub heading" on the site. So without further clarification a few posts down, all there is is "NYG cb Terrell Thomas " and the your first post with no info in it as to what actually happened. I'm sure the sub heading of the thread reads something like "torn acl", but can't see it.Since many people who dont use the mobile version wouldn't know this, figured I'd put it out there for those of us who live on our phones. As always, keep the info coming, this is the best idp resource on the web.

So, does Ross or Webster stand to benefit from this more? I would assume Ross, as teams were seeming to throw Thomas' way more often (hence the high tackle numbers and resulting fantasy value), so I would think that his replacement (Ross) would get the same treatment.

Is this the case, or were Thomas' high tackle numbers potentially not transferable to another of the Giants CBs now?

Ross definitely gets a huge bump in value, but I don't think he'll replicate Thomas' production. Also, Akamura could be a factor at some point.

I thought Amukamara was out for the season as well? Could he be back any sooner?
no.he broke his foot.
Unfortunately, Amukamara is still likely at least a month away from getting back on the field after breaking a bone in his foot in his second practice of camp. On Monday night, the cornerback was scooting his way through the locker room with his broken left foot on a scooter so that he couldn’t put any weight on it.He says he feels no pain but also did not give a timetable for his return.“It’s definitely something I don’t want to rush and want to be smart about it,” Amukamara said. “I don’t feel any pain. As soon as it is go-time, I will be ready.”“They haven’t given me a timetable,” he added. “I think they said in the beginning from 8-to-10 weeks but who knows, it could be shorter than that or longer than that. I don’t feel any pain.”Amukamara has two more weeks on the scooter. The rookie has been trying to soak up the defense in the meeting rooms and he often hit up Thomas for knowledge.
