His pass/cover ability is a big part of what got him the job. Not sure how it stacks up against the OLBs Kennard and Casillias.

Thinking about what I had read ... Keenan Robinson (a non-starter) was the best coverage linebacker they had and was being utilized in dime and nickel.

So I don't know if NYG will have any true 3-down 'backers as a result. As a pure guess, the nickel will be a rotation of Robinson/Casillias/Sheppard.

Casillas is my guess. He's been a reliable and capable OLB in coverage. He's a bye week starter for IDP purposes tho.
