This schedule looks pretty promising. I'm thinking of buying Jets now!

Buffalo

@Oakland

Miami

BYE

Jacksonville

@New England

Carolina

@Buffalo

wk 14: @Tampa Bay

wk 15: Atlanta

wk 16: @Indianapolis

Cincinnati

I would love to get my hands on as many Jets as I can steal!

Really? Which ones are you buying?

Sanchez is not a top 12 qb, Cotchery is dinged, Thomas Jones shares too much with Leon, Leon doesn't get the ball enough to play a large fantasy role, Keller disappears, and the defense has done nothing fantasy wise.

The only guy who seems worth starting every week is Braylon Edwards, but after last Monday, you will probably not be able to buy low on him.

I'm in a buy mode for T Jones, but he could have a couple of TD's today, which would drive his price up. He was a nice buy low 2 weeks ago.

Keller, like a lot of TE's will disappear at times but is capable of the big week. Cotchery is a decent buy low right now.

:unsure:

Shoddy defenses and big plays go hand in hand. Remember if Edwards is the real deal there will be more offense for everyone. It's practically a crapshoot. I'll take Washington though he is their big play threat so those bad defenses should help him get on track.

picked up clowney as a bye week filler, hoping he can put up some decent numbers. with cotchery and brad smith out he looks like a decent WW pickup

Couldn't agree more...traded away Driver for Thomas Jones this week. Even in a time share with Washington (who I also own), I think Jones will be a solid RB2 the rest of the way. I think six of their next eight match-ups are against the #31, 30, 29, 25 and 20th ranked rush defenses.

Bad posting.

I pulled the trigger and traded for Thomas Jones in dynasty (also have Greene). The run schedule is as soft as it gets here on out and I'd recommend trying to get TJ in redraft as well as Greene off waivers if he's there. I don't think much of TJ beyond this year but I'm rolling the dice that he finishes strong. Leon will also put up nice numbers but I think his upside is limited since Greene would get most of the carries if TJ gets hurt. I expect Sanchez to improve enough down the stretch to keep defenses honest.

SOS is the most worthless and overhyped fantasy stat in the history of forever.
So, then you would say T Jones is not really a quality start against Oakland this week? And you don't think looking at the schedule affects a player's value down the stretch, including FF playoff time? Um... OK.

I was in a buying mood with Jones in redraft. Reports of his demise were (and continue to be) premature.

The "schedule doesn't matter" argument is pretty lame. Most cheat sheets and who to start and many other articles spend much time and are often very influenced by WHO THEY ARE PLAYING!

It is a factor in our weekly and future decisions and is VERY much part of this game we play.

& a factor that makes us overthink. I don't really use SOS & do just fine
