Odd man out - Keeper Question (1 Viewer)

12-Team, 2-QB, Non-PPR, 5-Keepers, Lose the round player was drafted in

Goff (5th round)
D. Henry (6th round)
A. Jones (10th round)
Garapollo (13th round)
C. Kupp (17th round)
K. Allen (20th round)

I also have McKinnon in the 19th round, but can't see elevating him over any of the guys listed unless he's a preseason sensation.

Figure that Goff and Allen are no-brainers. I know I won't be able to quit Henry. While I'm down on Garapollo a top-15 QB in a 2-QB league is too valuable to throw back from the 13th round.
So, it comes down to Jones or Kupp. Both guys hurt last year. Both with workload questions. Am I missing anything?

What are the starting requirements?  You are correct it comes down to Kupp vs Jones.  If you can wait to see so.e pre season I would wait.  If you know what might be kept that would factor in as well.   For example,  If you know 25 RB's are being kept it may make me lean towards Jones.

For Jones vs. Kupp the player matters more than the pick, since a 10th rounder isn't worth much (especially with keepers weakening the player pool). In non-PPR it seems like Jones is the clear winner.

No doubt keep Jones.  I honestly would have a harder time between Allen and Kupp, as both are injury prone and both capable superstars at the WR position.  Solid RBs are harder to come by than questionable WRs, IMO

I would say neither are injury prone.  To me injury prone are soft tissue, recurring injuries like pulled muscles that linger for weeks every year so you never know when to play a guy.  Both of these guys have had ACL injuries and Allen has had a kidney injury and another fluky injury.  Allen is a WR1 in PPR but does take a bit of a hit in non-PPR but as a 20th round value you have to keep him.  He is also fully recovered from his ACL as it was two years ago.  Kupp has the risk of barely coming back from the ACL and not knowing how he will perform.

Good points.  I guess it just seems Allen is hurt all the time, especially since I seem to own him every time he goes down.  Allen is definitely amazing value in the 20th round, but jones in the 10th is pretty dang good, i think. In a standard scoring league RBs are a premium, so I'd still rather have Jones, even though I don't like RBs from GB typically.  New coach new running game?

I agree that I would keep Jones which means you can keep Allen and let Kupp go.  The original question was between Jones and Kupp and which one to keep.  OP was already keeping Allen as one of his for sure keepers.

We're on the same page, then. Keep Jones and Allen.
