I disagree. My mom is dead, and I've had bizarre dreams where she appears naked. Not sexual, but unclothed. There is something to what Freud said. Not sure what, but many people have had similar dreams.

Freud has, for the most part, fallen completely out of favor in academia. Virtually no institution in any discipline would dare use him as a credible source. In 1996, Psychological Science reached the conclusion that “[T]here is literally nothing to be said, scientifically or therapeutically, to the advantage of the entire Freudian system or any of its component dogmas."

If its not sexual, its not Oedipal.

If you buy into dream analysis, her nudity is probably symbolic of something else. Truth maybe? Personally, I think dream analysis is only slightly ahead of numerology and the zodiac in terms of usefulness.
