Do you think any of the top 10 teams in the draft will make the playoffs in 06?

I will not give my pick because it would be biased.

I'd say AZ has the best shot with GB having a chance with the benefit of a 4th place schedule and mediocre division

Here is the list of teams:

Hou

NO

Tenn

NYJ

GB

SF

Oak

Buf

Det

Arz

Thanks for the list. I had assumed everyone knew them but that would be too presumptuous of me. :goodposting:

If I had to rank their chances, I would say:AZ - the addition of Edge may give them enough running game to get a spot

Gap

GB - last year may have been an aberration and they have 4th place schedule

Gap

Det - with Marinelli on defense and Martz on offense, anything can happen

NO - tough division, but they've had talent. If Brees and Bush can add to it . . .

GAP

In no particular order, these teams have a tough road to hoe. THe competion in the divisions and the holes each of them have, make such a jump seem unlikely

Oak - you never know with the boys in black, but with the holes and SD, KC and Den ?

Tenn - many holes and have Jags and Indy

Hou - many holes and have Jags and Indy

NYJ - rebuilding with Miami and Pats in division

Buf - year removed from competing, but several holes and new coaching staff

SF - still too many holes

New Orleans has zero D in a tough division. No Chance.

Houston, the Jets, Tenn, and Oakland are in the AFC. No chance.

SF is just too young. No chance

Detroit is not in a tough division IMO and GB has Favre. I said that the Packers would go 4-12 last year when everyone was on their jock and I'll say now they will be no better than 6-10. But the Favre factor looms.

Arizona and Buffalo are the only teams with a legitimate chance. People mock Buffalo but if their D is healthy and if they can figure out the Qb situation, Buffalo is a deep sleeper. Slim chance.

ZONA is in a pretty wide open NFC. They have zero shot at the division unless the Seahawks lose Hasselbeck, but they can still compete for a playoff spot if Warner stays healthy. I think they go 9-7 and are on the "edge."

I had these guys possibly making the playoffs last year and the team is improved. I'm still not sold on Losman, but if the defense can play well they have an outside shot at the playoffs.

None of the teams in the top 9 will be competing for much of anything.

Arizona has a great chance. Great offense and some good young players on defense. They would have been better last year if they would have had any running game to speak of.

People need to get off the Seattle bandwagon. This team was not that good. The NFC was pretty wattered down last season. They barely beat the good teams and got free wins because of the craptastic division they are in. The will still beat up on the Rams and 49ers but the Cards and a first place conference schedule should take care of these guys. SA won't be playing with nearly the same fire he was last year. He is a year older, coming off of a career year, coming off of a super bowl, with a fat wallet.

I wouldn't be at all shocked to see Arizona win that division.
