Offensive players after turnovers? (1 Viewer)

Do offensive players get IDP points after a turnover. For example, the Brees pick and then Meachem strip and score does Meachem get the points for a force fumble and a fumble recovery?

Do offensive players get points for tackles?

In my league they do.

So if an offensive player tackles a defender on an INT return he will get a solo tackle.

In my league today, Meachum got 1 pt for the solo tackle, 3 pts for the forced fumble, 3 pts for the fumble recovery, and points for the defensive TD. Huge play.

Yes they get scored.

Scroll down to "Final Defensive Statistics" and you will see that Meachem is credited with 1 Tackle, 1 FF, and 1 FR.
I see that it is noted in the "special section"- I am in a league that uses Team Defense. If someone has the New Orleans Team Defense should this be counted towards their score? Does anyone have an NFL link that would interpret how this should be scored in the team stats?- Is it a Def TD or just considered an "anomoloy" an not scored under any type of "team" stats, just a Robert Meachum TD?Thanks,

CC, there is a big thread on this in the Shark Pool that has plenty of opinions on Team Defense scoring of this play, so ya know.
