Offered Aramis for Hamilton / Gordon (1 Viewer)

I was offered Aramis Ramirez for my Josh Hamilton & Alex Gordon. If I make the deal I would move Ibanez or Dye to OF3.

This is a points league so there are no categories, just total overall production.

Here is my roster currently:

C: Pierzynski

1B: Helton

2B: Kinsler

SS: Reyes

3B: Gordon

OF: Ichiro

OF: Hunter

OF: Hamilton

Util: C Guillen

Bench: Dye, Ibanez, Glaus

SP: Verlander

SP: Harang

SP: Smoltz

SP: Penny

SP: Snell

P: K-Rod

P: Borowski

RP: Gregg

RP: Howry

Scoring:

AB (-.25), R (1), H (1), RBI (1), SB (2), CS (-1), BB (1), HBP (1), K (-.5), TB (1)

IP (2.1), W (11.5), L (-4), CG (10), SHO (10), SV (11.5), ER (-2), K (.75), HLD (11), BSV (-4.5)

Also there are some other decent (not great, but decent) players available on the wire:

Hank Blalock (3B)

Bill Hall (OF, also 3B eligible soon)

Gary Matthews Jr.

JD Drew

Mike Cameron

Chris Duncan

David Dejesus

Jack Cust

Garret Anderson

Upon review:

- You will be getting the best player in the deal in Aramis.

- In a points league, both Ibanez and Dye are better performers than Hamilton. Both Hamilton and Gordon are talents, but they will both probably strike out twice as much as they walk, which kills you in a points league.

I would make the trade and pick up David DeJesus to fill that empty slot.

Agreed to here. Remember, Bill Hall hit 35 HR in 2006.Edit: Jack Cust might be better here, actually. Didn't see him at first.
