I see the game the same way. However, I've witnessed a few of these highly anticipated shoot-outs turn out to be duds over the years.Crossing fingers and Rolling with Palmer, Meyers, Reece, D. This contest is a better bet to generate 1,000 yards of total offense than any other NFL game this season.I'm starting Reece in the flex over Woodhead, Jennings, and LaFell (and Palmer over Flacco) and not thinking twice about it.
IMO the "shootout" prediction gets thrown around too often, seemingly any time two high-flying offenses go up against each other. Well, often the corresponding defenses are at least run-of-the-mill, and a lot of times they're pretty good. And unless it's the 2008 Patriots, most offenses aren't gonna routinely hang 40 on a "pretty good" NFL defense that's up for the challenge. But these are two bad defenses - pretty bad in the case of Oakland, and historically bad in the case of New Orleans. 32nd against the run and 31st against the pass:I see the game the same way. i hope you're right as i am starting 5 raiders this week, but i bet a whole mess of people were expecting big games from reggie bush/daniel thomas because they were playing the bill's bad run d.just never know what is going to happen, but again i hope you are right.IMO the "shootout" prediction gets thrown around too often, seemingly any time two high-flying offenses go up against each other. And Oakland doesn't even have to travel east, which would have been my only other cause for concern.
There's just no way I see this game ending up 20-17.
Also dropped Green for Reece.Dropped Alex Green so that I could pick him up. Starting him over Ben Jarvis Green Ellis this week.
wow. I have the same call but I think I still have to ride ridley. maybe I should look at it again.probably starting him over ridley in ppr.
i think reece's floor is lower due to the receptions i assume he'll get. ridley has the far better chance to score 2 TDs, i believe, but i feel he has the better chance of laying an egg.wow. Same.Ryan Mathews
That worked out well for us. Mathews is a slug.Same.Ryan Mathews
He's not a classic FB. More like a RB/TE.Marcel was only missing a TD today.Overall - very impressive. What an athlete. It's an open question how many fullbacks could be successful if given the chance yet get stuck doing the dirty work. But I'm guessing it's quite a few.I think this is where all the John Riggins, Jim Taylors and Larry Csonkas have gone.
Played WR in college I believe. Dont think he's dropped a catchable ball yet. Labeled a bit of a "gadget" player and I assume he transitioned to FB to make/stay on the roster. Small sample size but with his output and skill I have to wonder what happens if he continues to produce. I realize the Saints and Ravens D isnt top tier but DMC was exactly providing an impact. Seems even when DMC returns I have to think Reece gets more looks based on what he's done the last 2 games. We'll seeHe's not a classic FB. Hmmm. I'm a DMC owner and the way the season has gone I kinda hope he's out again. I'm just not thrilled about DMC and the ZBSdo we think McFadden will be out again next week?![]()

the past is a useful way to predict the future. dmc and his chicken legs aint coming back. reece has produced more in two games than that clown has all season...Where do you see this?'need2know said:DMC ain't returning.'money.never.sleeps said:Played WR in college I believe. BOOM !!!!Willis McGahee, flex, PPR ...

Totally agree. Reece is a PPR machine and has done so much better than McFadden...Hmmm. I'm a DMC owner and the way the season has gone I kinda hope he's out again. I'm just not thrilled about DMC and the ZBSdo we think McFadden will be out again next week?![]()
This was my attitude LAST YEAR when I had DMC and was playing M. Bush.I'm a Marcel Reece and DMC owner. In my [non-ppr] league, I'm actually hoping DMC stays out. Reece for the win.
Those were good times! Bush helped me win. Now Reece just got me back into the playoff hunt. It's a new strategy--keep drafting DMC, grab his handcuff and roll to the the playoffs! This was my attitude LAST YEAR when I had DMC and was playing M. Bush.I'm a Marcel Reece and DMC owner. Agreed...right now would rather have a healthy Reece in there playing like this.I'm a Marcel Reece and DMC owner. In my [non-ppr] league, I'm actually hoping DMC stays out. Reece for the win.
Actually I'm pretty hopeful whenever he gets a pass out in the flat he might take it all the way. He's great in the open field. I think the only thing stopping him at the goal line is the Raiders giving him the chance.Assuming DMC and Goodson are out again, how we see Reece doing against Cincy? NO really didn't seem to care about him ripping off big chunks since they had the game in hand from the start. You also can't expect him to get 90 receiving yards every game. Personally, I think the only way he scores is on a receiving TD and those are hard to predict. He did have one goal line carry but I don't think he has the explosiveness to be that effective in that situation.
