Office Football Pool (1 Viewer)

SUPER ELITE UPPER TIER
This past year, we started an office pool for the 5 big golf events. Went well, and everyone enjoyed it. Now that golf is winding down, we're thinking about doing a football pool. But I've never run one, so I'm looking for advice.

It's only about 8 to 10 guys. My thought was to just do a pick 'em where we pick every game and the best score wins. Not sure if we want to do every week, or a cumulative score for every 4 weeks. Last time I did one of these office pools, the sheets were printed out and you circled the team you wanted. Are there free sites online that make this much smoother and allow people to see everyone's results in real time?

Any advice here is appreciated.

TIA

Survivor pool. You pick one game a week and can only use each team once during the season. You get a week wrong, you're out. Easy to run and doesnt take time to make all the picks.

This was one of the ones we were thinking, but not sure it would hold interest. We thought maybe do this WITH a pick em as well.

My dad uses a site called TourneyTime. It costs $25 for up to 25 people. Nice site, you can adjust the scoring to just about whatever you want. It also is great for the NCAA. One of them works on their app and the other doesn't. Can't remember, and not sure if they have updated it.

He does $5 a week pays a small amount to the top guy each week, and then the rest to top 3 end of season. The system is straight up picks, no spreads. My kids (12,11,8) have each won several weeks and my oldest guy was in the top 3 one year.

We use pooltracker.com. free to use but lots of ads. $50 each. Confidence pick'em. Pay $50 each week to the winner then top 3 at the end if the year.

In your case, you could just pay every 4 weeks. The site can do whatever breakdown you want.
