Really doubt you'll net more value with two random firsts than McCoy, though it's possible.

Also could see the logic in bailing on Morris with the Shanny sugar daddy gone, but in a 2RB I don't think a random 1st is enough. Greene could have some value, but is equally likely to end up as RB3 filler or worse.

Like Gerhart comfortably > Sharod in 2 RB though. Roddy is 32 coming off a bad year. He'll turn 33 next season. Rather have 1-2 years of a potential top 15 RB in that format than a fading star at WR.

RB's have a shorter lifespan, I get it, but seems arbitrary to just pick a RB who had a huge drop and use it as a reason to not trade for another RB.

I don't play in IDP so I can't speak to that, but from the offensive side, no chance I'd love this. Jeffery and Mathews alone are worth more than Forte to me. Throw in multiple first round picks and its a landslide for the Alshon side for me.

On the fence wit the Lattimore deal. If the player drafted with 1.06 isn't noticeably better than 1.08 (and I don't think he will be), then getting Lattimore for 1.10 (basically) seems like a good deal IMO.

Agreed. Team A must love Allen and have a target or two in mind for 1.07 that he really likes(another owner and myself offered more value to him IMO, but he chose that offer). I'll definitely take Bell, that's a ballsy move to deal him for future picks in a startup. Both deals took me by surprise.

Give me the picks. The guy with the picks is building for later and three firsts in a rb heavy 2015 draft class (counting his own) gives him an excellent chance to replace a decent but unspectacular back in a good situation. There's a very real chance indy drafts a stud rb next year, or denver, or new orleans, or even seattle/sf (despite the love affair people have with their backups right now). The lions, bears, giants, cardinals, rams, ravens and patriots may also be in the market at that point. Those are some very good landing spots for some very good talent. Great year to acquire first rounders if you're looking to build a stud backfield for the long term.

I didn't have the RB (those 2 were basically it) or WR depth (after Julio, Jeffrey, Maclin, Givens, Broyles is about it) to make a run nor do I have QB (Tannehill, Manuel, & Palmer) or TE (Bennett, Finley, Rivera). I wasn't going to win it all this year and felt like building around Jeffrey and Julio is my priority. Maybe I could have held out for more, but I am extremely high on Kelce & Marvin Jones in addition to the RB's in next years draft. I have purged my roster to leave some room for the 16 late picks I have in this draft taking a shotgun approach. How many teams? Unless it's 8 or fewer, McCoy, Morris, Julio, Jeffrey should be in contention for years with a few minor tweaks IMO. Lack of QB strength is pretty easily remedied in non-super flex leagues in my experience, and depth can be obtained without trading off cornerstone pieces. Of course I think Marvin Jones and Travis Kelce are run of the mill decent, so YMMV as always.

12x30 There are much stronger teams though. For example . While I could have 'competed' I was one injury away from weakness with no real depth to speak of. The longer I looked at my team, the more I decided just blowing it up and hopefully building around 2 RB's from next years draft to go along with the RB talent in next years draft would be stronger. Hoping Marvin Jones becomes my long term #3 that I thought Givens was and I can build around these guys. I've made some bad deals in the past, but I don't think this will end up as one of the worst

he is a free agent after this season and they probably feel like as he goes over 30 his value is only going to decrease.
