The guy giving up Cam/Patterson has Jordy, Antonio Brown and Alshon Jeffery, so he's all set there. and I'm sure he will keep Lacy, Jordan Cameron and a QB, so Patterson was expendable. I guess if he really coveted RGIII, it makes sense, but still seems like a bad return.

Yeah, I found that offer sitting in my inbox and was skeptical that it was real. I honestly thought maybe he screwed up so I waited awhile before accepting it. In retrospect, he must just be super high on Bernard Pierce. Or maybe super low on Forte, I guess.Yep. That was my league, after the Forte owner offered him along with Gates and VJax to me for Bradford, Stills, Camerson, the 1.07 and two other top 16 picks. I should have countered but didn't think he'd sell this cheap. He's been a good owner.Steal for Forte imo. Nice jobTrade I just accepted:
Team A (me) gives up:
Bernard Pierce
Rams Defense
2.03 Rookie
3.03 Rookie
Team B gives up:
Matt Forte
Antonio Gates
Colts Defense
I've been slacking on my fantasy research the last year, but I would have been crazy not to take that when I need RBs, right? I know Pierce has been getting great reviews out of camp, but Forte isn't exactly on his last leg.

My money is on Team A bailing on the league. There has to be something up, especially with the 3rd trade which is just a bunch of complete garbage WW players for Dez.Salary - 32 Team PPR (double pool)
Saw these big (and terrible IMO) trades recently from Team A:
===
- Team A gave up Graham, Jimmy NOS TE
- Team B gave up Gates, Antonio SDC TE, 2015 Round 1 Draft Pick, 2016 Round 1 Draft Pick
===
- Team A gave up McCoy, LeSean PHI RB
- Team C gave up Newton, Cam CAR QB;Lattimore, Marcus SFO RB;Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB; Year 2015 Round 2 Draft Pick
- Team A gave up Bryant, Dez DAL WR
- Team D gave up Baldwin, Doug SEA WR;Simpson, Jerome MIN WR;Johnson, Michael TBB DE;Jennings, Tim CHI CB;Jones, Reshad MIA S; Year 2015 Round 2 Draft Pick

I think you should've stood pat and gone all-in for a repeat.12 Team PPR QRRWWTKFF
Gave: Jamaal Charles, Jordan Reed
Received: Doug Martin, DeAndre Hopkins, Rueben Randle
I won the title last year since I was top heavy. Feel like I could still compete, but I'm an injury away from hurting, two injuries would be devastating so I decided to start rebuilding.
Core was:
Peyton/Romo
JC/Spiller/Hill/Dwill
Calvin/Cruz/Adams/M. Wilson
Reed/VD/Eifert
Looking to maybe shop Megatron and Peyton still.
I'm not that high on Randle so I would have like it more if it was Charles for Martin/Hopkins. I wouldn't be looking to move anyone else unless a great offer came along for Peyton or Calvin.12 Team PPR QRRWWTKFF

I'd like it more if one of those 1sts isn't from Team B. If I'm trading AD (and I have this year) I want a guy I think will be a core player or at least a top pick, not two late 1sts.in a 12 team IDP ppr:
A gave: ADP, Dawan Landry, 2016 7th
B gave: Jarvis Landry, Eric Berry, 2015 1st, 2016 1st, 2016 5th
A is rebuilding, B is in top 5 probably
Fair considering the risk but I'll take Team A's haul. Not involved:
Team A Got: Trent Richardson, Jeremy Maclin
Team B Got: Steven Jackson, Josh Gordon
Team B's 2016 has the possibility to be an early to mid pick because some of his key pieces are Foster,ADP, Rashad, and Andre. Looks like he might be going all in on this year.I'd like it more if one of those 1sts isn't from Team B. A lot of this was what I was thinking as well. I feel like Hopkins can very well have an Alshon like jump along with thinking Martin is pretty undervalued. Randle was the last option in this as I'm not a huge fan, along with having him and Cruz on the same team. If Eli comes back to early 2012 form, and not late 2012-2013, then Randle will be a lot better as well. I originally tried to scoop a '15 1st, then Moncrief, but got shot down with both and went with Randle as a last option.maxhyde said:I like it.I am not as low on Martin however as some and Hopkins is a nice add. If Foster can make it through the year it's a fine deal for you. Overall I prefer Crabtree but understand with your wr depthI'm almost always on the WR end of these trades, but situation dictated.
12 team PPR, must start 2 or more RB's.
Gave:
Crabtree

Foster

20 man rosters so the 3rd round pick was pretty worthless to me and Greg jennings is probably never starting for me. I have Cobb, Andre Johnson, Wright, Cooks. Start 3 WR. 1 flex.Seems fairly even without knowing the rosters.12 Team PPR

I've done deals like this when the situation warrants, but I always try to delay them as long as possible (read: try to swing them around mid-season, instead). It lowers my exposure to risk (lets me target guys who I already know will be good in 2013), and allows me to get a discount if they happen to be on a non-competing team.I'm almost always on the WR end of these trades, but situation dictated.
