Lets talk defense, since there's nothing too exciting happening on offense (except maybe for my boy Fred Taylor)

Supposedly, we need the 2007 offense to protect the new group on defense.

So far, considering the defense TDs allowed only:

Buffalo - 2 passing TDs, 0 rushing TDs

NY Jets - 1 passing TD, 0 rushing TDs

Atlanta - 0 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD

Not too shabby.

Quite a test next week, though

Well then allow me to be the first to respond here after a relatively HUGE week 3 out of conference win. My only comment - can someone please remind Joey Galloway how to catch the ball already. Go Pats!

I was goin' through some week 2 boxes the other day, and noticing how many safeties around the league were racking up tackles --- check out these Pats stats from that game against the New York Cheats:

Warren -- 6-2 tackles + sack

Wilfork -- 6-0 + ff

Wright -- 4-2 + sack + ff

Green -- 2-5

nice work, boys....

3 WR/1 TE/1 RB -- 30 of 83 snaps

2 WR/2 TE/1 RB -- 28 of 83

1 WR/3 TE/1 RB -- 13 of 83

1 WR/2 TE/1 FB/1 RB -- 9 of 83

3 WR/2 RB -- 2 of 83

2 WR/1 TE/1 FB/1 RB -- 1 of 83

so is this still a rbbc in the patriots?

they really should tell us what's going on with welker too. the moss-brady connection still looks a little off and i cannot tell who is causing it. (i saw week 2 and moss had a legit chance to catch that int)

I admit it; I've become emotionally invested in November 29.
I 100% guarantee the Pats will not lose on November 29, 2009.
:thumbup:I'm not even sure which game is going to be better, the one on the 22nd or the 30th. I'm going to the Jets@Pats, and all the revenge and division consequences are obviously big, but Pats@Saints is a pretty good game on its own, and barring a Superbowl meeting, won't happen again for another four years.

Brandon Tate is eligible to come off the PUP this week. Then I think the team has 2 weeks from now till they have to put him on the roster or put him on IR. I haven't found any recent news, anyone heard something?
