I'll start....Anquan Boldin being shopped hard!

Per PFT

Cardinals G.M. Rod Graves confirmed what's been whispered about plenty at the combine: There is currently a for sale sign on Anquan Boldin.

"We're receptive to taking any calls. I don't want to get into specifics but we're going to look at all the possibilities," Graves said Saturday.

Graves expressed confidence in his younger players, although said you just don't replace a player of Boldin's caliber easily. "We'll see where this thing takes us," Graves said.

We expect it will take Boldin out of Arizona during or just before the NFL Draft.

Thanks for that. Hadn't heard that rumor yet.Worst part is 'As Acee points out, regardless of whether Cromartie becomes a Lion, Cromartie "has almost certainly" played his last game with San Diego.'

That has to be the video clip heard 'round the world. I don't understand. Yeh, it's a bad play and Cromartie isn't a very physical tackler.... but he's a CORNER BACK. A 25yo CB with amazing skills and 15 INT after starting two years in the NFL. What a mistake to let this guy walk. If they honestly think Cason is ready to take over that job let him win the job and take it from Cromartie. If nothing else just let Cromartie return kicks/punts and be a nickel back this year while they are making another run at the SB. I'm sure it's not going to hurt to have an extra CB this year. Seems crazy to me.

Tashard Choice is doing interviews with a lot of media outlets. But the message is still the same: He wants to stay in Dallas, despite the tough circumstances.

"I heard a lot of rumors and speculation," Choice told ESPNDallas.com Monday. "It lets you know other teams want you and that they've noticed you. I want to stay here. It's a great place and a great organization to play for. It's just that the situation that I'm in, man, it's hard. It's not pretty cool when you only get to play when those two guys go down."

That's almost identical to what he told the Dallas Morning News in an exclusive interview on Feb. 10.

"I want to be in Dallas. It's a great place," Choice told the Dallas Morning News then. "I really want to be here. Of course I want to run the ball more and contribute but it's a tough situation."

Choice doesn't live in a cave. He heard the trade rumor that involved him going to San Diego for cornerback Antonio Cromartie.

Choice said on his Twitter page that he would not request a trade. "I'm at where I wanna be at," Choice wrote.

Choice is in a battle for playing time with Marion Barber and Felix Jones. Barber led the Cowboys with 932 yards on 214 carries. Jones had 685 yards on 116 carries. Choice was the third-man in and had 64 carries for 349 yards.

At the end of the year he expressed some frustration with not getting more work during the year.

"We're always our best fans," Choice said of the trio. "We want each other to do well. It's never anything between us. All three of us want to run the ball and we all can run the ball. We don't care if we share it. We just want to run the ball more as a team. If they put the ball in our hands, we can make it happen. That's how I feel."

Dallas Morning News Cowboys writer Todd Archer believes Choice deserves more carries in 2010 and that the Cowboys shouldn't trade him.

Archer wrote recently: "I'm not trading Choice. Jones hasn't shown he can stay healthy or handle the full load. Barber hasn't been able to stay healthy the last two seasons. I'm not giving up on Choice just because of that. He's too good, has value and he's a good guy. Now on to Barber -- I can't see the Cowboys trading him either because of his contract. I'm not trading Choice. I'd listen on Barber but that contract would hold up teams."

that olsen trade to the pats looks great for both teams imo.
I think it would be GREAT for the Pats. For the Bears, I think it would be potentially horrible. It is going to take a lot more personnel changes to that Bear offense to get it to 'fit' the Martz system. We saw it in SF that Martz has a system that he is not going to leave regardless of what he has to play with. Unless there are some major moves to bring in new guys, I do not expect the Bear offense to be much better than last year. I think that means it will be another short stay for Martz in Chicago. Then, that basically means that the Bears gave up a young and talented TE that they spent a 1st on to get a second. Now obviously, it really matters who they pick up with that second, but just saying a 'second' then that does not seem like a smart move to me for the long term.

Jets | Rhodes to be traded soon?

Tue, 02 Mar 2010 09:18:31 -0800

Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News reports it would not be a surprise if the New York Jets trade SS Kerry Rhodes before his $2 million roster bonus is due March 12. Last season, the coaching staff was not satisfied with Rhodes' commitment to football, which contributed to his benching.

Rumors abound that Bears want Brandon Marshall

Per PFT....

Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall says he's willing to stay in Denver this year, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen says he wants to keep Marshall and Broncos coach Josh McDaniels thinks it can work.

And yet hardly anyone seems to think Marshall will be a Bronco in 2010.

The biggest question is which team would be the best landing spot for Marshall, and Neil Hayes of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that it could be the Bears. Hayes writes that Bears GM Jerry Angelo's comments about wide receiver not being a ''need'' position are viewed by many as a smoke screen, and that one NFL source wagered a steak dinner on Marshall being in a Bears uniform when camp opens.

We're not sure whether Hayes accepted the wager, or whether the Sun-Times allows its reporters to wager dinners with sources, but the bottom line is that the Bears are among the handful of teams that are consistently named as a potential suitor for Marshall's services.

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had a good rapport with Marshall when they were teammates in Denver, and new Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz would love to add a talented wide receiver to the offense. It's safe to say this won't be the last time we hear talk about the Bears acquiring Marshall.

---I smell a deal that can include Olsen for Marshall somehow. Marshall in Martz offense and back with Cutler would be insane production, I believe.
