Not sure if he has been mentioned, but in the same vein of picking up Austin Kearns, I just added Jonny Gomes in a h2h league last week.

For those of you who play in deep leagues, especially dynasty leagues, if you're in need of some pitching and have DL spots or room to do it, Ross Detwiler is a guy who you might take a look at. He should be back from hip surgery within a month or so - he's beginning his rehab assignment this week. The Nationals can score some runs, and with Storen, Clippard, and Capps, they have a good bullpen too. Not sure if they'll stick him right into the rotation, but there's room for him and if he's successful, he's got a long term role there. I don't expect stardom, but in leagues where solid arms aren't easy to find, he's a potentially good pickup if you can spare the space.

Max Scherzer has struck out 17 in his last two minor league starts and his velocity is up 3-5 mph. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back up in the next couple weeks.

Grady Sizemore and Kendry Morales are both on my bench. Beltran is occupying my DL slot. I am going to dump both guys I think. Also have Derek Holland who left the game with an injury last night.

Here is what is available. I am in 2nd place, and have a decent lineup even without Morales and Sizemore (can slide Glauss or Laroche into my 1B slot). I could use help with HR and RBI.

Hitters - Jonny Gomes, Luke Scott, Aubrey Huff, ####udome, Seth Smith, Austin Kearns, Fred Lewis, and the whole host of other guys that I'm sure are available in most leagues.

Pitchers - Sean Marshall, Carlos Silva, Anibal Sanchez, Pavano, Kennedy.

Am thinking about dropping both Morales and Sizemore and going with Gomes and Smith?? May drop Holland and go for Silva??

Definitely pickup Smith with Fowler now out of the equation in Colorado. Gomes won't hurt you. Silva better than a hurt Holland.

I can't get behind this version of Silva after so, so, so many bad years preceding.I'd hang onto Sizemore, but Morales can go. I'd just add Smith, his PT is on the rise and he had a solid May.What you do at pitcher depends on the league, I think Marshall's a much better add than all of them in roto, especially if there's an IP cap. H2H I'd play the weekly matchups. Sanchez and Kennedy have the best skillset and Sanchez is hot right now so I'd trend towards him.
