Jack Edwards is pretty brutal.Pierre McGuire. Is there a broadcaster more annoying than Buccigross?
Toronto
Dallas-Phoenix final game of the regular season for last playoff spot, maybe.Of the young teams in the NHL, I think the Stars are going to be really good pretty soon. They are a fun team to watch.
I want Phoenix nowhere near the postseason. Is anyone seriously rooting for a 1st round match up between the Blues-Coyotes?
Snoozefest if you ask me.
No boards involved but the Sharks almost iced it into their own net on a delayed penalty today. It was a rocket the length of the ice just wide,I have never seen that happen.Seriously Tampa?
Lightning pulled the goalie on a delayed penalty then shot it off the boards.....went into the net.
close the porn tabsAnyone else having problems with the NHL.com gamecenter tonight? The video is lagging terribly. Tried three different browsers and my internet connection is strong.

Given how bad the Flyers have been in the secnd period this season, it;s just a matter of time until the Ruins tie this, right?
i blame Pierre. that guy has the ability to ruin every thing about hockey. So they don't show the replay of Chara getting knocked on his ###?
didn't put two and two together. Was my first post in here in months and was quoted in a mention about settings, thought maybe I was doing the internet wrong or something, it's cool. BTW I'd like to donate to fantasy playoff pool, if you or someone is running it this year.huh? Is this about me? If so I don't understand, If not carry on.Interesting that for users that haven't adjusted the default settings, this thread is on page 86.Teuvo Teravainen time.
Teravainen wears #86 and those posts were on page 86 of this thread. Why would it be about you?
Missed this discussion last night, but we had a HS game here in Massachusetts this season where a team got a delayed penalty in the final seconds of a tie game, pulled the goalie, and then the drop pass slid the length of the ice and hit the post right before the horn.No boards involved but the Sharks almost iced it into their own net on a delayed penalty today. It was a rocket the length of the ice just wide,I have never seen that happen.Seriously Tampa?

Toews leaves game with left shoulder/arm injury after Orpik hit,

Looked to me like he hit him in collarbone area and slid up to head. The Toews injury did not look good. I have homer glasses on, but the hit was boderline at best. Tough to say if head was principal point of contact or not but it look like it was to me.
NY-centric bar? In Boston???Can any of you Boston guys suggest a bar in the city where I might be able to catch Rangers games (either general hockey or NY-centric) over the next couple weeks? I'll be staying at the Long Wharf Marriott.
We have a bunch of Boston themed bars here so I figure maybe it's reciprocated.
the Oilers are ready for the season to be over. The Rangers had their way with Edmonton last night. After Nash's break in was stopped by the Edmonton goalie, it had the appearance of being one of those lopsided games where the weaker team scores a fluke goal and ends up turning the game around. Happily, that wasn't the case. Edmonton looked terrible for a large part of the game. The fairly even SOG did not accurately reflect the one-sided nature of the game.
Stamkos has nothing on Kaner.I have never seen that happen.Seriously Tampa?

Cool, McKenzie said it was down to Minn, Tampa and Philly a couple hours ago. I guess he'll have a good mentor in Sutter.Sorry, Billy Bats ... but congrats, Brasky:

Bummer. If it had happened a week ago, he could have gotten home in time to watch Sean Avery get booted off Dancing with the Stars.Marty got yanked at home against the Panthers. That might be a career lowlight.
