**Official 2014 In Season Dynasty Trade Thread** (1 Viewer)

Wow. That's bad. Makes the 2016 6th for storm offer I got seem relatively fair.
Yeah. And this is the FFPC where Storm isnt even really worth a roster spot. I highly doubt he is even owned in some of the leagues. My guess is he coulda got the guy for mid-late future pick cause the original owner would have appreciated dumping Johnson for the extra roster spot.

$300 Dynasty Football World Championship

Team A gave:

Calvin Johnson

2015 3rd

Team B gave:

Jerick McKinnon

Storm Johnson

2015 1st

2015 2nd

Team getting Calvin is already the highest scoring team in the league, by far. Point being it will almost certainly be 1.10-1.12.

Oh and about 18 hours before that trade, the Calvin owner turned down McCoy for Calvin straight up.

Somehow I think the title of this league is a little misleading.

It's a large contest-style structure tournament put on by FFToolbox.

I have two trades in the last month to note. Both of them are in a Zealots Field league (non-ppr).

Trade 1:

Sent Dwayne Allen and a 2015 2nd round pick (likely mid-round)

for

Zach Ertz

Trade 2:

Sent Ryan Mallet and a 2015 2nd round pick (likely toward the end of the round)

for

Vincent Jackson

For both deals, I was pretty flush with picks for 2015 so felt I could use them to make upgrades at TE (the first trade) and at WR (the second trade) without taking away any of my top end 2015 picks.

Well, we know one team that won't be crowned world champion anytime soon. ;)

Love the second deal, but not so sure you upgraded at TE in the first one.

It's weird how these hype trains get running. Ertz was the big break out candidate this offseason, and he follows it up with a big week 1 (where Dwayne Allen scored nearly identical points) and it just keeps going form there, despite the fact that Allen outscored him in 3 out of the 4 weeks following that.

Not saying it was a bad deal, as I'd agree that Ertz is the better bet over the long haul than Allen, but perception doesn't always match reality.

Ertz in first

VJax in 2nd

12 Team 1PPR

Team A: Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, late 2nd

Team B: Julio Jones, early 3rd

Team A now has AJG/Julio/Dez/DT, team B now has Calvin/Alshon/Maclin.

People are giving Calvin away. Hoping to find some Calvin offers in my inbox

Good use of your picks imo

10 team 2QB:

Gave: RG3, Alfred Morris, Davante Adams

Got: Demarco Murray, Darick Rodgers (cut him for Storm Johnson).
I prefer Murray but should work out for both sides
Could see both sides of this.

RG3 value has obviously dropped through the floor
In 2QB I'd take my chances RG3 returns to form. Adams has a chance to be a WR1 eventually.

Murray is playing out at an elite level right now but he's turning 27 in January. Winning a title makes it all worth it though.

12 Team PPR QB/5 Flex

Gave: Keenan Allen

Got: Odell Beckham Jr

Gave higher floor for higher ceiling IMO. Probably overpaid a bit but in a year may feel differently.

Seems like a pretty big overpay to me. As you say, OBJ may work out well for you but I don't think you got fair market value for Allen.

Good deal both sides. I may side with Julio here

This is my thoughts. I was thin at RB but thick at QB with Peyton, Rodgers, and Big Ben and I hold 3 first rounders next year.

12 team PPR, building for the future and willing to take a shot on ADP at this price.

Gave: Justin Forsett

for

Adrian Peterson

Good god screw the idea that "no deal should ever be overturned".

MOnte Ball for Storm Johnson
Watch Storm breakout because we all think this deal is bad.
Agreed. I agree that it looks bad on the surface, but by the end of the season we may have a completely different perspective. What is the RB situation of the team moving Ball?
You can say that about any trade.

What if it was demarco murray for storm johnson?? Might have a different perspective by the end of the season.

I like Allen here and I own OBJ a few places

Yeah. I don't even think very highly of Ball and this is a bad trade.

I actually prefer Allen but he's more of the high floor variety while ertz has a higher ceiling
