Almost that time of year again. :pickle:

Perfect forecast, no rain, temps in the mid 70's to low 80's. :pickle:

No Tiger. :sadbanana:

No Tiger tantrums. :pickle:

Predictions? :moneybag:

What kind of beer will you be drinking? :banned:

Phil says he'll miss Tiger this week.

"It's a weird feeling not having him here, isn't it?" Mickelson said. "He's been such a mainstay in professional golf and the majors. It's awkward to not have him here. I hope he gets back soon. I mean, I hope he's back for the other majors, and as much as I want to win and I know how great he is and tough to beat it ... it also makes it special when he's in the field and you're able to win."

Day and his thumb issues have scared me away from picking him. 14/1 is a bit low i think.

much as i hate Sergio, i think he's a good price at 22/1.

i'll take a stab with Dufner and Speith at 40/1, and Cabrera at 50/1 (i think this is the only tournament El Pato plays anymore).

at longer odds a throw a little something at Nick Watney 125/1.

i wish i could find a prop on how many times Jim Nance mentions TW through all four rounds. i'd take the Over all day.

That Field bet on sportsbook.com looks juicy to me. 20-1 and you get a bunch of decent players. Reed, Kirk, Dubuisson, Every, the last two winners on tour in Jones and Bowditch, somebody else not horrible who I'm forgetting and then 22 or so other guys, most of who have no shot but you all get 22 of them.

So far:

field 20/1

snedeker 25/1

z johnson 25/1

english 45/1

woodland 70/1

haas 80/1

leishman 125/1

molinari 150/1

after careful consideration tossing scott, kuchar, donald, sergio, d johnson, bubba, stenson, mcdowell, westwood, rose, bradley, dufner, mahan, fowler. will probably make a one more large wager on rory. 10/1 sucks but rather take that then play spieth or phil, the two other lowish odds guys i cant toss.

Got some bad numbers but here's my to win bets:

D Johnson 18/1

Z Johnson 25/1

G Mcdowell 50/1

Field 30/1

Els 55/1

Phil 10/1 - I got a feeling

L Westwood 36/1

S Garcia 16/1

M Kuchar 16/1

Mahan 40/1

Hole on one - YES -125 (probably won't come until Sunday)

Playoff - YES +250

Winning Score OVER 276.5 -125

US Amateur make cut - NO +180

Sergio will compete early then fall off on Saturday. Pulling for Dufner and Phil. Think Stenson will be in the final two groups on Sunday. Intrigued by Rory this week. He could be leading after Friday's round.

Hoping Day's thumb injury is healed up. Also love DeLaet at those odds - he is due to win at some point, why not here?

I saw this too. Definitely seemed like best value.

I went Kuchar at a similar number and Walker and DeLaet at 55/1 and 65/1 I think. I think the "first timers struggle at Augusta" thing is probably already built in to the odds so I'm hoping for value from a couple longshots having solid years.

Kevin Stadler part of the field.

masters.com glorious as always
It really is. So strange how the Masters people are so resistant to letting people watch their tournament on television but simultaneously give people such quality access on their web site. Although it would be even better if they did shot tracking.

live betting is awesome. pressed on haas at +4400 just before he made birdie on 13. could have outright lead with 64 holes to play!
