Tennessee has lost to Florida now 10 straight times. I am not even upset. I pretty much expect to lose this one now.

Interesting. Because of the penalty, wouldn't they have wound the clock with a 25 second play clock instead of 40? So if Butch had saved his timeout for 3rd down it would have made Florida punt with ~15 seconds instead of them being able to run it out here, right?

Miss St. in the #1 ranking convo after this performance? Should be. 2 high quality wins. Won't though.
Imagine their name was Auburn or Alabama or Oklahoma. They'd be considered the runaway number 1 right now. As Mississippi State though, probably #6 or so.

Ummmm so clock was out on that gators FG?
Refs are horrible.
Screen capture of FL "game winning" kick with clock expired...

Not a big deal as both teams suck in the grand scheme of things, but this seems like a large oversight, no?
If delay of games were called as soon as the clock hits zero, sure.

But they're not. Just went over this in the Kentucky game a few weeks ago and not too long ago in an NFL game as well. There is a grace period as the official is instructed to wait until the clock hits zero, then look down and find the ball. If it's snapped in between that time it is not considered a delay of game.

It happens 100 times a season. Just so happened that it keeps cropping up in important situations in these Florida games.

Yup, you see that a lot.

UMass scored 133 points in 12 games last year. The Minutemen have 41 points today ... at the half ... on the road.

You're playing Miami - the dreck of the MAC.
Oh, no question. But we'll take anything at this point after the meat grinder of the first five games. And Miami did only lose to Cincy by a TD and was only down 7 to Michigan (yes, I know) in the second half.

Kent State and Eastern Michigan coming up, too.
