I'll go Miller side of this regardless of my situation.

It's pretty much Lynch for Miller and pick 9 (other picks close to a wash).

Pick 9 can likely get you a projected very high 2016 1st, or be used in a package for a different upgrade.

Miller is good enough and that pick 9 has enough trade value to me to make the move and do without whatever Lynch gives me for a year. I also am of the belief he isn't going to be near what he is in 2016

In some leagues the hardest thing to do is find a buyer willing to give "fair value" for an old player.

I had lynch last year and wasn't going to make the playoffs. So I looked to sell, nobody with a top 8 pick (16 teams) was interested. I ended up trading him for a couple young injured players, but those players wouldn't have been offered without the injury.

Getting injured players (and not picks) is often the only way to get good value, but that's not happening right now. If your point is he should wait until the season, we'd agree.

I acquired Lynch in two leagues this offseason, for 1.11 + future 4th, and for 1.12. But this was before he had signed his new contract so I would expect to pay more now.

I don't have an issue with 1.09 + Lamar, even though I like Lamar, but it totally depends on team situation and league settings. If you're competing, have maxed out your roster spots, and have the equity to spend, I think it's a great move.

On the other hand there are 16 team IDP leagues with 60 roster spots and 9-10 starters at offensive skill positions...in those leagues you hardly ever have so much depth that it makes sense to trade 1.09 + Lamar for Lynch.

I realize it's a superflex, but this is essentially like trading Bryant for Joique Bell in a non-superflex league. Trading a valuable super stud who will be a stud for years for a guy who's value is only as a short-term starter at a more desirable position.

Confirmed. I play in one (superflex) Lynch was sold for 1.09 last year. Tragic undersell imo but it happens for desparate rebuild teams that are in too much of a hurry

As far as that deal is concerned, give me Miller and 1.9 over Lynch as a rebuilder. Sold Lynch middle of last year for what turned out to be 1.3. Had hopes for 1.1, but I am happy.

Easily Julio for me. It's essentially Julio + 2016 1st for 1.01 + Wallace, which is such an overpay for 1.01 it isn't even funny. I doubt Johnson is better than a mid range WR3, best case scenario for Wallace is a mid/low range WR2, and Bell best case is a back end RB2. Short benches means concentrating talent is so important, meaning Johnson and Bell cost a good chunk in opportunity cost just to have, so Julio + 2016 1st for the 1.01 + Wallace is what it boils down to for me.
