You dealt AJG, Julio, and Lacy in a 2QB league and your top 2 QBs are still Alex Smith and Sam Bradford?

I dunno, I would have aimed to get better QBs that that for dyno super-studs. It might have been better to just stand pat.

I agree. I'd like to see what you ended up with for the picks. Looks like a bunch of late firsts. Seems like you could have done better.

Rec'd: 2.6 which I used to select Jaelen Strong. Felt he was a top of 2nd player and thought it was worth the price.

Yeah, who knows what the future holds but that looks more like a debuild than a rebuild.

A team with Julio, AJG, and Lacy is in no way in need of a rebuild and it was silly to even try. It only takes one draft, and maybe a little bit of luck to be a complete team. Great starters with little depth is much better than a bunch of crappy depth and few good starters. Depth is easy to find on the WW during the season or move mediocre 2nd+ round draft picks for. It's not something you give up a bunch of studs for. People's obsessions with "filling out a lineup" and "depth" are their downfalls.

You sold really low on Sankey. I don't like it but it comes down to pure player evaluation so if you've given up on him then the trade is fine.B I'll take the Mathews side and Bryant side easily

Because his value is at an all time low point. He was the #3 rookie pick in a stacked WR class iirc. I mean, his value could do down even more but it's definitely at a low compared to where it's been. And much of the reason is because the situation around him was terrible, and he wasn't good enough to make up the difference. It could end up working out for you. gl

that particular trade wasn't bad since it was basically garbage/Sankey for Hyde, but agree with your point.

There really isn't any reason to trade Sankey now, what's the worst that can happen, you miss out of a late 2nd - mid 3rd (90% of those picks end up worthless anyway). I think Sankey has better than a 10% chance to be useful at some point in his career. Trade him then if you're down on him.

 
In 18 games with the Patriots, Blount has 16 tds. He is the starter on a contending team with an aging qb with a good o line that plays better the second half of the season and that doesn't invest much at rb and has no first round pick next year so they'll be unlikely to spend draft capital to replace him.

People are trading this guy for a mid to late third?

R Randle is at best the #3 target for Eli, I don't trust Eli to keep 2 guys fantasy relevant every week. Andre Williams is behind two other guys. It's going to take multiple injuries before I consider either player flex worthy.

while I would agree normally, the problem is that I did not have a draft to add with, previous owner had already sold off this year and most of next years draft (had a 3rd and 4th still in 2016). included with the firsts was also alshon and jmatt, it does a disservice to ignore those as part of the return. Bradford does not worry me so I feel as though as long as hackenburg or cardale can pan out ill be fine there for the future. I made a ton of moves, but as well as I can remember the full return on the 3 studs (along with some older chaff like Fitz etc) was

Christian Hackenburg

2 firsts next year

This team had literally no chance of winning it all this year or next and wouldnt have added a rookie of real value til 2017 when half the roster had retired already.

Received McKinnon, 2.2, and 2016 1st (likely top six)

Rb depth still of Peterson, Hill, Hyde, Bernard, Sims, McKinnon. Wanted to get value for Foster before he breaks down or retires, even though I expect him to have a good year. Thoughts?

2016 2nd, though if competing this year I like Andre Johnson.

Calvin, though I don't think it's an awful haul for him if you're high on Bryant and Agholor and are motivated to sell. Probably best to wait til the season starts and Calvin has a few good games, though, as that'll boost his value back closer to where it should be.

Gross, Hopkins + Moncrief, by a lot :P I'll never understand why some seem to be so low on Hopkins. 140+ targets just opened up with Johnson leaving and Short+Strong aren't going to take all of them, the complaint of bad QB play applies to last year just as much as this year, he's turning 23 in a month, and he finished WR#14. He's right there with Cobb and Jeffery for me, as a low end WR1/top class WR2 this season.

For your Andre Johnson trade, my opinion on how you did would be based on whether you are a serious contender for either/or/both of 2015 and 2016. I think he will have a big renaissance in Indy with Luck. It also depends on where that 2016 2nd falls; early or late.

I am not a contender this year, I had a very old team that might be able to squeak into the playoffs. The team I traded him to could finish anywhere.

I like Johnsons talent, but I am nervous with that many receiving options. So I to the for sure 2nd instead of gambling that he will be worth a late 1st in season.

12 team PPR, start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1 flex, 1te

Gave: 2.02, Cruz, Dalton

Got: 1.08

Took Yeldon with the 1.08

A bit of a unique situation here as this is a contract league and Cruz was on a big one. Moving him freed up a lot of space to sign our rookies and have some space left over, and we were desperate for a RB after taking Cooper over Gordon at 1.02 despite our already big WR/RB quality disparity.

This completes the (hopefully) 1-year rebuild of a team that finished 11th out of 12 last offseason. We had AJG/Dez and no other players of real value besides maybe Cruz/Ertz, though we did have 1.02, 1.05, 2.02, and 2.09 in the draft. We turned those plus Cruz in to Cooper, Yeldon, Megatron, and a future 1st. With Sims/Randle/Blount/White all having the potential of expanded roles this year we now may have enough for our RBs to at least tread water while the WRs do their thing, and we now have two 1sts again next year as well.

QB: Eli, Bridgewater

RB: Yeldon, Blount, Sims, Randle, B Brown, J White

WR: Dez, AJG, Megatron, Cooper, Patterson

TE: Ertz
