On a separate note, am I crazy to think that Murray might be a little hobbled? On that wheel route, where he did have a nice gain, it seemed like he just kind of pulled up when I really thought that he could just take off.

Yeah, Hicks was playing special football. At least it is mitigated with Demeco returning; last we saw him he was making a game-changing interception against the NYG. Eli was moving right down field looking to make it 14-0 and Ryans made an incredible play. Maybe we are quick to forget how well Ryans was playing, as Hicks has burned so brightly.

Plus, Kiko should be more of an impact player in his second game back from the knee injury. He played sparingly v. Dallas last week and only recorded 1 tackle. Week 1, he had a beautiful INT against Matt Ryan that changed the momentum of that game and began a solid comeback. Then, of course, injured early in the week 2 game. We really haven't seen Kiko yet.

And that Kendricks guy? He's a beast. 17 tackles the first two games before injury cost him a month. Back to back weeks with a sack and knocking the rust off.

All this to say that losing Hicks sucks, but this is the one position where we have depth and talent, and just haven't had our players able to perform over the last 4-5 games. Hicks was a season-saving impact player at a 3rd round price tag who bridged that gap. The Eagles front office has done a masterful job of bring in LB talent and depth to run the 3-4 scheme. In fact, the whole front 7 is special and the talent pool is deep.

Didn't realize this was 3 straight on the road for Miami. That is simply brutal! They've allowed a hell of a lot of points too lately. In their last 3 games they've allowed: 26, 36, 33 points. We should be able to put up at least 26 on them, and if our D plays as it has been, can't see them scoring over 16.

From last game, The Cowboys are one of the best all-around teams in he NFL. They've been in a lot of games vs good teams with Cassel and Weeden. They played better than the Eagles until Cassel served up a pick 6 to put their season in the grave. They would be 6-2 walking away with the div with Romo.

The Eagles got really lucky. Imaging if Dallas wins this game in regulation with Badford having 0 TDs and being a half of a game out of last place?? It would definitely be Sancheeks time - but we assume the Eagles will walk away with the division. I don't think we will. If we do, it's an early out because Badford blows.

Who's going to bring Badford in as a starter this off season? He's an upgrade for who Hou, Was, SF? I can't see why they would give him reasonable money. We have a QB who 31 teams won't bid on to be a starter in a few months. That's why we won't go anywhere this season. This is a great team otherwise.

Badford's weakness is good for Murray. He's starting to perculate in ppr. He's a top 5-10 ppr back right now.

Good game for Matthews. His issues had more to do with Badford than anything. He's not out the woods yet because of the QB play. You can get excited about next year with a new QB, it's hard to do much worse. He has to be one of the best after the catch. That's saying alot at his size.

Man I wish we drafted Byron Jones. Matthews would have went ballistic is not for the rookie Jones being unleashed on him.

I have the Eagles 22-31 today but I wouldn't be shocked in we lose.

Just saw this too, and got pretty excited. Sounds like its just the flu so nothing too serious which is good news for Miami.

I'm not too familiar with Miami's pass D, does Grimes usually stay on one side or who was he expected to shadow? Davis has been good at attacking the weakness right away when a player is out so expecting him to go right after Grimes' replacement. Again, not super familiar with Dolphins players so not sure who that will be.

From last game, The Cowboys are one of the best all-around teams in he NFL. They've been in a lot of games vs good teams with Cassel and Weeden. They played better than the Eagles until Cassel served up a pick 6 to put their season in the grave. They would be 6-2 walking away with the div with Romo.

The Eagles got really lucky. Imaging if Dallas wins this game in regulation with Badford having 0 TDs and being a half of a game out of last place?? It would definitely be Sancheeks time - but we assume the Eagles will walk away with the division. I don't think we will. If we do, it's an early out because Badford blows.

Who's going to bring Badford in as a starter this off season? He's an upgrade for who Hou, Was, SF? I can't see why they would give him reasonable money. We have a QB who 31 teams won't bid on to be a starter in a few months. That's why we won't go anywhere this season. This is a great team otherwise.

Badford's weakness is good for Murray. He's starting to perculate in ppr. He's a top 5-10 ppr back right now.

Good game for Matthews. His issues had more to do with Badford than anything. He's not out the woods yet because of the QB play. You can get excited about next year with a new QB, it's hard to do much worse. He has to be one of the best after the catch. That's saying alot at his size.

Man I wish we drafted Byron Jones. Matthews would have went ballistic is not for the rookie Jones being unleashed on him.

I have the Eagles 22-31 today but I wouldn't be shocked in we lose.

Good God, I thought the Eagles were playing the Dolphins this week, not St. Louis.

No one seemed interested in talking Dolphins when I tried to spark it up haha.

Miami seems to be a team with extremely little history against us, without much geographical or historical game rivalries between us. We've only played them 3 times in the last 16 years, and won all 3 games.

EDT: Miami has also only ever traveled to Philly ONCE in over 19 years. Crazy.

It is kind of interesting. I really don't think I can remember anything notable about any Miami game off the top of my head. I think I can clearly remember a game with just about every other AFC team.

edit: Actually, I do remember one now that was on my birthday where my ex-wife was yelling at me. It was a night game (probably 03 or 04), but I don't remember what happened in the game.

We now have a miami game we will never forget.
