This will be interesting to see. They've all been bashing him on the trail. But in a debate you'll see what they really think. If they take swings at him, they are taking him as a serious threat. If they don't, then they assume he'll sink himself at some point anyway.

Anybody who really goes after him is probably not long for the campaign and should tread very lightly. There are people out there who like him and what he's saying and you don't want to mess with that until necessary. Just give him rope enough to hang himself and he will. He already has. Let him do his thing and just avoid him as much as possible. Or let somebody else f with him.

 
Dang every question seems to be "everyone hates you" by these moderators.

Side note - snark aside it has to be profoundly difficult to do a live debate where there's effectively no audience at all - zero live feedback.

Question: So, I presume we're going to hear a whole lot about how awful Obama is and how he's destroying America, etc. Isn't this exactly what republicans were complaining about in 2008 when the Democrats were going after Bush? Or is it cool now?

 
I thought only Pataki and gilmore came off like serious candidates in that first segment. They obviously don't have much of a chance but these other clowns are awful. Perry basically called the voting public idiots. It's true but you don't say it out loud. A vote for Graham is a vote for another ground war.

Republicans were complaining about that during the election?

I think most of the complaints came after the election when it was endlessly "blame Bush" instead of moving forward.

Why doesn't Santorum mention he was a Senator of Pennsylvania when the plane wrecked in the field on 9/11 seems like everyoneelse is bringing it up
