I think it's dumb to have even the main debate in an arena this size since they are only letting 4500 in. Have to think an arena that size, that would be and look full, woulda made more sense.

Before this debate I thought maybe one of these candidates would shine and manage to get into the top debate in September. I have no idea who that could be. Anybody impressed with any of these folks?

To be honest, I actually think that if this Rick Perry had shown up 4 years ago, he might have actually had a shot. Now it's too late.

I wouldn't say impressed but Gilmore seems at least competent which is more than you can say for the rest of them.

Style wise I think Pataki has seemed the most calm/poised not that I think what he says resonated.

I think the FOX folks are going try to play up Fiorina to move her up.

I thought maybe he would be better but he's no different than he was in 2012, imo.

I look at it as who would I might want to hear more from and only Fiorina fits that for me.

I think that's the question.

He's also stumbling here on this one - sounds like a straight flip-flop now. Never mind my prior thing about him seeming poised. Just fell apart here.

Yes, Gilmore seems to be presenting actual plans and directly answering the questions (mostly).

Perry should take the finger pointing into full pistol mode - make his point and holster it.

he's polling at 0%, maybe he's even at -3% with the margin of error. Maybe he can get out of there at double or tripling his polling.

One of his advisers must think Jindal saying "I've got the bandwidth" makes him seem young and hip. He keesp using it.

Fiorina basically is volunteering to be Trump's Vice Presidential nominee.
