Perhaps this is happening at the perfect time. it'd be the last swing of the axe to sever the tie that binds. This would be awesome, but i'm not holding my breath. It hasn't changed in the last two decades, I don't see why they'd change now. Politics in this country are flat out embarrassing. There's no question, but they are doubling down and now we have this situation between Obama and Cruz. I get that Obama shouldn't be airing our dirty laundry all over the world and I get Cruz's anger in that, but come on....SOMEONE is going to have to be the adult first.

Even when Harry Reid was screaming "the war is looooost" on the Senate floor in 2006 Bush didn't run around screaming about it in every foreign country. Obama Is the problem here, not Cruz.

Well that depends. I believe that certain viewpoints deserve to be demonized. Specifically in this instance, I believe that the viewpoint that we should shut down accepting Syrian refugees is pretty shameful and it deserves to be demonized. As for purposefully misrepresenting what somebody says, nobody should ever do that. Can you give me an example of what you're talking about? Then I can tell you if I agree with you.

Do you think Cruz looks presidential staring into a camera and telling Obama "say it to my face"? But I get it, because to his supporters he's looking like a tough guy. And you know who else looks stupid is Christie, all of his tough talk. "I won't let a 3 year old in". It's chest pounding, tough guy talk. And it comes off as childish.

They're not being childish! Obama is the one being childish! Why is it always the Republicans who are being childish? Have you ever asked yourself that? Why don't you ask yourself that?

I don't really know why, but it's sad. Kasich tried being a grownup in the last debate. He got booed.

Romney did do well in the debates. Shows how little people pay attention to those. It would require paying attention to something beyond a sound bite.
