I saw something a couple weeks ago about him and his free-throw shooting and I was like, oh cool, Rick is passing it down.  Then a little while after, I was thinking, wait aren't Jon and Brent his sons and they are like in their 40s?  But then I never followed up on it.

 
Well, ratfart.

Proud of the fight Bucknell gave, but West Virginia's trap and rebounding were just too much.  

I hope West Virginia wins by 60 on Saturday.

 
Pet peeve of the day (may have been covered already):

TNT/TBS/CBS/TRUTv - put the dang all-tourney scores at the bottom and a smaller game score box for the game you are showing at the time. The dang ball gets lost on that long box for every outside shot.

I thought both teams played really well.  When Bucknell broke through the trap they did a great job attacking the basket to get layups or kicking it back out for open looks.  When they didn't break through, West Virginia did a great job forcing lots of dribbling and unproductive passing, draining the shot clock and forcing Bucknell into turnovers and bad shots.  Like you said, WVU's intensity and conditioning wore Bucknell out, which is pretty much how Bob Huggins teams have been winning lots of games over the last three decades.

So fun to watch.  My guy Ben got some camera time standing up and clapping on the bench and he looked pretty good in a suit.  

Now, let's see what's going on with this MTSU/Gophers game...

Planning on going to Austin's, a Johnson County neighborhood hangout.  With KU, K-State, and Wichita State all playing at the same time tomorrow, it should be packed and interesting to see how the varying fan bases turn on each other.

Is this the one in Olathe by Garmin?  Or is there another?

 
This LaChance guy is an idiot.  All 2nd half when they were getting late in the shot clock he would dribble back out when there wasn't time to do it.  Now he does the same thing at the end of the game clock.

Kind of funny that Vandy of all teams loses on a cascade of really dumb mental mistakes down the stretch.
