*Official 2017 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Parade of Champions Down Broad Street! (2 Viewers)

Birds are gonna to throttle the Seabags by double digits. This team has heard enough about not playing "good teams." Seattle has worn the crown of the dominat bully of the NFC for 6 years. This ends Sunday. Polish the crown Seattle and get ready to hand it over. It's ours now.

Wish they were at full strength to test our offense vs their defense but oh well.  I will be surprised if it's close

i gotta say, one of the biggest surprises this year for me has been Kelce. i was on board with him being too small and was becoming ineffective as a starting center last year, and right now he is ranked the #1 center in the league by Pro Football Focus. anybody explain this one?

1) Doug's a great coach and it took a year to clean up Chip Kelly's messing with Kelce.

2) Kelce had everything to prove with people saying all off season that they should trade or cut him.

So credit his drive to want to be the best. He's been the last great Andy Reid pick for this team.

There is no such rule. THey do play around with timing of games in the final week now though so that teams don't get an unfair advantage of knowing ahead of time whether they can go hard or sit
I thought I heard there was a rule or maybe they changed it again to what you said. I thought I remember for a time there was a rule like that. I could be wrong

Could've sworn Cox and Graham were Andy Reid Picks too

Dallas win tonight was great.   Dallas still likely misses the playoffs while:

1.  Getting a worse draft pick
2.  Playing well enough to have one of the worst coaches keep their job.

Yeah I guess.  I still wanted Washington to beat them though.  Very disappointed in their effort

I just think that the injuries have become too much for them to overcome.  They've lost Jordan Reed, Chris Thompson, Terrell Pryor, and their entire offensive line.  Cousins literally had one second to get rid of the ball last night or he was mauled by three Cowboys.

Well to be fair Pryor was mia all year even when he was active

They lost Rob Kelley too.

To me they clinched the division two weeks ago.  That's in the rear view mirror.  Looking for the #1 seed now.  Hoping the team has the same view.

Who is the bigger priority, Graham or Bradham? You can bet Graham is looking for a new deal this offseason. Can't expect him to be a good soldier again.

20 of 22 Eagles starters are now signed through at least 2018. Nigel Bradham and LeGarrette Blount are the only ones who are not.
Not sure about Blount but I would think Bradham is signed. Also I think Agholar would be considered a starter as well no? He needs to be resigned to a decent deal

No need to bring back Blount. Ajayi and Clement should be a good 1-2 punch for next year, plus a receiving back to complement them. (Sproles?)

I doubt Sproles is back at this point next year. If the Team even wins the SB without him playing still I say he for sure leaves. I think it's like 5% Sproles comes back. They seemed to like Pumphrey who didn't do much if at all anything this past year and then the Team basically IR'd him with a small Injury to protect him from another team taking him. Maybe they look to draft UGA Sony Michel who's done a lot of work out of the passing game this year. It'll be interesting to see how they work this. I could see them maybe taking Chubb or Guice and calling it a day and keep Pumhrey and hope he turns out well. At the Very least Pumphrey becomes a good return specialist till all the other kinks are worked out

Hopefully Howie can swap out Curry for Graham on that list.

Bradham is pretty important in this D. I think we go LB at 32 this year but it be nice to keep him for two more.

This is awesome
He becomes the 7th-highest paid WR by AAV and 8th by guaranteed $.

In a vacuum I feel like that's a bit of an overpay for a soon to be 28-year-old with his health history. But in reality, they might at well spend up this year and next while Wentz is earning soooo far below market value, 'cause that's gonna change in a big way from 2019 on. Super Bowl windows can be pretty small in this league and when you've got one opening up in front of your eyes, the last thing you need to worry about is pinching pennies.

Exactly

Alshon Jeffrey signs 4yr contract $52 Mil $27m Gaunranted according to Adam Scheftar

Eagles lock up Jeffrey

Seems like a fair deal.  Not getting Dez or AJ Green money, but still paid like a true #1. they saw the chemistry developing and locked him up - probably a good call.  A good year here, and he'd probably have gotten at least that on the open market.  Don't want to lose out in bidding like we did with Maclin.

yeah, i know when Howie was away from the team he went all over learning these kinds of things. Very similar to the Sixers with cap mgmt.

not as worried about that. Imagine an opportunity to play with the top 2-3 QB in the league with not many other options. Most WRs would seem to jump to that in a heartbeat

Poll:

% Chance Schwartz is still our DC next year?
i'm hoping better then 50%. 100% chance he gets calls and opportunities, but he has a good thing here. i think asst. coaches have learned grass isn't always greener, and depends on who is offerring. i think better chance we lose our DB or DL coach for  def coord job

Ya I hope you're right.  He seems to be the top choice of all coordinators in the league for the next HC job though.  What he's done has been remarkable and he seems to have matured a lot since his last HC stint.  I think he'd make a good HC.  Just please don't let it be for the Giants.

50%

If we win the Super Bowl he's gone. If we get there and fall short, he might give it another go if the only options are like Cleveland.
