Allen was the only good pick apparently. I do feel bad for JMatt but he was nothing more than a possession guy that at times couldn't catch.

I thought Wentz was going to start I think it was his goal all off season.

But long term I'm OK with it. Give Foles 2-4 weeks then Wentz will be ready.

So - officially no way in hell we can keep Brandon Graham now.

(Long term I mean, not this year)

BG is gone.  Sucks, but we have to invest in the younger guys coming up and he's after a huge deal.  Even before the Mack deal there was a slim chance he was gonna stick around.

Former NFL doctor David J. Chao (@ProFootballDoc) offered some thoughts on the matter in a recent post for The San Diego Union-Tribune. Spoiler: he doesn’t think Wentz is SUPER close to returning.

With the Thursday opener, that gives Wentz 10 days before the Week 2 game, but it seems doubtful that he will start that either. To me, he is still multiple weeks away.

I understand there was optimism since he was not placed on PUP at the start of training camp and he looked good in practice. However, if he were on PUP, he would not be able to practice with the team, and that was probably worth it for him to do as part of his rehab.

And Wentz’s superior athleticism should not fool you. The fact he can throw the ball 65 yards is a testament to his arm strength, and how well he moves is a testament to his mobility. But neither indicates he is anywhere near 100 percent.

Also, don’t be fooled that he is on the 53-man roster. A player of his caliber is worth carrying on the roster just so he can practice and be part of the team – with the possibility he will return in the coming weeks.

Things can change. Wentz can turn the corner more quickly, or there can be more pressure on the Eagles to start him if Foles struggles as he has in the preseason. No one knows at this point.

My best guess is it will be at least a few weeks. Depending on how he looks in practice, his exam and the internal Eagles discussions, that could change.

But don’t be surprised if this becomes like “Luck Watch 2017.” (In no way am I implying Wentz will eventually go on IR, simply that there may be some week-to-week hype about it).

At this point, medically, he is more likely to start Week 7 (after a Thursday night game in Week 6) or Week 10 (after a bye in Week 9) than he is to start Week 2.

If the team’s internal plan is truly to use Wentz the same way as before injury, as offensive coordinator Mike Groh said recently, that would necessitate waiting until at least the second half of the season.

Never got the Pumphrey's hype. Then again Im not a huge PAC10 guy on offensive players. Too many teams trying to go get the next Sproles just like everyone for yrs tried to go get the Next Randall Cunningham. Vick gets there and everyone starts trying to get their Vick. I was never big on Pumphrey's as he never protected the ball well and always seemed hurt. I thought he was a surprise to be drafted as early as he did. I had him as a 6-7 RD or Priority UDFA. Glad the team despite taking him in the 4th round admitted to a mistake there.

I don’t like cutting Means in favor of Perkins or Warmack.

A lot of names out there for us to look at too. I’d like them to give Perriman a look
Perkins sounds like he's on the team do to Rodgers knee injury. He might be out multiple weeks I've read. I the Eagles want to use Two TE sets it's hard to do if one of those guys get Hurt and down Rodgers already

Any word on how serious Ajayi injury is?
Doesn't sound really serious. I think with his knee issues and health already the Eagles weren't gonna rush him on the field for meaningless games.

doesn't seem like it could be too bad based on this:
Dam that report really helps a fantasy standpoint on which Eagles you should take. If you got Ajayi on the roster already and your Back ups aren't great and can grab Clement you should do it or do it in general. Clement will get his during games if the Eagles offense stays on schedule.

Eagles have signed the following players to the practice squad: RB Josh Adams, CB Chandon Sullivan, CB De'Vante Bausby, DT Winston Craig, LB Asantay Brown, DE Joe Ostman, C Jon Toth, WR Greg Ward Jr., WR Rashard Davis, TE Billy Brown.

Watkins was terrible but then again maybe it's my biased showing. He was a good Special Teams guy and good depth player.

Knowing Roseman this will change almost weekly. The Team also trade for Bears S Donte Hall who's suspended for week 1 and doesn't count on the Roster yet. Look for Trea Sullivan possible be cut and maybe signed to the PS

The Eagles also claimed LB DJ Alexander a former KC and SEA player today. he's more known for Special Teams but made the pro bowl as an alternate last year

And Dal cut Bo Scarbourgh. I wouldn't mind taking him over Smallwood. Would give us another power back with Ajayi if needed. He can catch a little too.

the Wormack love is the one i can't figure out. i think they saved some money if they cut him too, but they must see something the rest of us don't

No Mack Hollins.  That means the starting wideouts will be Agholor, Wallace, and Gibson....

This smells like a big opportunity for Goedert....I may actually start him.

Don't think he'll do a ton in his first game.  If anything, just means more targets for Ertz.  WIth the quality of our D, this feels like a low scoring game with a lot of running.  DG may get a few targets but I don't see him catching more than 3 balls.

Not so sure about that.  I think he could see a good amount of Red Zone targets and he could also be used as a deep threat.  Granted in PPR you're starting Ertz but I just got a gut feeling.

More targets with Ertz and the RBs I think

I just looked at the schedule and I see 10-6. What do you guys see?
I'm 10-6 all day on them now.  I was torn between 10 and 11 wins but with Carson sounding like he's out for a few weeks, and looking through the schedule closer, I'm fairly confident 10 wins is what we'll get this year.

NFL Network is airing a Philly Special right now. It's about the Eagles SB run from just playoffs. At 9PM they are doing the NFL Films type going through the whole season

In Top 10 Celebrations on NFL Network the Eagles take home top celebration with "Eagles Team Celebrations". We were just to good even our celebrations were #1
