This about sums up Harbaugh - some great advice:

Ive tried to advise them [his kids] to get two costumes, to be go-getters, Harbaugh told Galli on Monday. You can hit the neighborhood in one costume and better to jog and to run from house to house, then you can get more candy than anybody else. Then you come home and make a quick change into a second costume and go hit those same houses again.

Harbaugh admitted this was the technique he used during his childhood.

Hustle, constant hustle, hustling at all times, he said, laughing.
He's a real weirdo.

Peppers going to get some run on offense out of the bye

Wouldnt be surprised to see him score on something. Offense, Defense, Special Teams

Why wouldn't Minny take OT at home against our back-up QB? And when they do decide to go for it ...those were two questionable play calls. But this takes away a bit of the sting from the last loss. Great to pull out a W!

Harbaugh's challenge of the fumble on 4th down was a dumb way to use up your challenge. Not only did the refs clearly get the call right, the Gophers Woukd get the ball either way just the issue of where the spot would be.

So is Morris ever going to see the field again at Michigan? Wonder what his deal is.
He is terrible

He has no chance to win the job next year against O'Korn. If he didnt come in tonight, he isnt coming in ever.
I'd heard that they wanted to redshirt him this year, so wouldn't play him unless there was a long-term injury to Rudock.

Also possible that he's just terrible.
mgoblog is theorizing that he WANTS to redshirt, graduate and have two years somewhere else. does make a little bit of sense :oldunsure:

Where did you see that? In an entry or on the board?

On the board, but also listened to their podcast and Brian offered it as a theory as well. Hadn't ever listened to one of those before, but it was pretty good

I think it was in the Ty Issac "thread" (whatever they call it over there). That's another guy that I expected more out of...he's just fallen off the map completely. Can't hold onto the ball I guess.

Not on the depth chart anymore. He runs like a girl.

That is going to get you 0 playing time when Jim Harbaugh is at the helm.

"I take a vitamin every day," Harbaugh said on his radio show Monday night. "It's called a steak."

"I truly believe the No. 1 natural steroid is sleep and the No. 2 natural steroid is milk, whole milk," Harbaugh said. "Three would be water. Four would be steak.

"(Steak) ... it goes with everything."

Starting to sound like John L. Smith

congrats

Defense got shredded and the special teams gave up another huge play, but when you're Michigan you win games like today. That's been missing for more than a decade.

Fun game, I watched first half and listened to 2nd half on the radio.

I'll be at Penn State next week!

Harbaugh said Glasgow is out for the season. Going to be tough to beat either PSU or OSU without him but ... GO BLUE! Have fun in Happy Valley.

####.

Damn...definitely don't have the depth to make up for that loss....several are going to have to step up to fill the gaps. I couldn't really believe that was Rudock out there either....holy crap. 6 TD passes?? Chesson was a beast too...got connected on the long ball  The offense is going to have to step up some with the loss of Glasgow on defense.

Falcon has officially decommitted. Wish him luck and I hope he's getting the correct advice to make the correct decisions when it comes to his health.

ok, help me out

i dislike OSU a lot more than I dislike Sparty. So my natural reaction is to pull for MSU

BUT, unless I am mistaken....

and OSU win coupled with a Michigan win over OSU sends the wolverines to the conference championship game

so who do I pull for?

Yeah, Sparty screwed the whole thing up by losing to Nebraska.

but

doing so gave the wolverines a shot at the championship

but we have to hope OSU beats MSU for that to happen, and man that's tough

i am so conflicted

Someone has to lose...best case scenerio

Either way, Ohio will be totally stoked for Michigan. Either Ohio will be playing to get into the title game and keeping their top ranking alive ...or they'll have lost to MSU and be hell-bent on not losing two in a row.

My BIL (MSU grad) got good seats for the Ohio game from a Fox station in Detroit and invited me to join him.

So, how do UMich fans think they'll do against OSU?
We think we'll play well and win? Ohio seems to have come out of the MSU game with a bad attitude, demonstrated by player complaints against the coaches and some stars openly ready to leave for the NFL. And as post-game commentary has noted, MSU exposed weaknesses in Ohio that might be tied to their QB rotation early in the season. Michigan can't make the Big Ten playoff game, so Ohio does not have extra incentive to play spoiler. Ohio needs a win to salvage a now-disappointing season. Michigan needs a win to make a surprisingly strong season even better. I'll take the team that's playing for a positive reason, not the one trying to avoid more negativity. And it's in Ann Arbor.

So, how do UMich fans think they'll do against OSU?
Never in a billion years, at the beginning of this year, would I have thought it was possible that Michigan would be favored in this game. I have no idea what to expect. All I know is I like the defense. If the correct offense shows up, game on.

I saw that defense on Saturday. I was impressed. Of course, Franklin kept wanting to run laterally and you guys just wouldn't let it happen. I'm waiting to see what happens. I really hope you deny their seniors a chance to go out with golden pants.
