Official 2022 college football thread: its conference realignment season. (1 Viewer)

A few minutes ago the analyst actually said, presumably with a straight face, that Alabama is not used to playing this early in the day. As if that excuses their terrible play that included nine penalties in the first half.
Usually a cupcake timeslot. Big games are primetime.
And?
Just a little info on how Bama games usually tend to get scheduled.
Yes, I have a TV. I didn’t really need any information. But, thanks.
You're welcome. Anytime.

Good way of unscrewing that. It was incomplete with no foul. All is ok other than probably intentional grounding there.

That whole sequence reminded me of some doofus with a time machine who has to keep going back in time to fix what he screwed up in the first place.

One of my minor pet peeves is when an announcer talks about the spotting of the football and they say, they’re going to give it to them. No, they are spotting it to where he got. They are not giving him anything.

Just unfathomable. If you would have told me Alabama lost a shootout I would have believed it because Sark is a great playcaller. But to lose like this with the backup QB in for most of the game, I would have lost a lot of money on that bet. I said before the season I'm super worried about the OL and the WRs, and that has played out. I think the secondary is ok, but 4 penalties on the best defensive player in the country is just something I could not have imagined. So undisiciplined. Texas has played with a lot of heart so all credit to them.
