PRESSURE.

FFS, any QB in the NFL could sit back there for that long and throw 50 touchdowns, so why in the world are you going to let the league's best do it?

That's gonna hurt. On replay, it appeared that Vrabel tripped Rivers. Chambers really should have prevented that interception.
It's not even prevent the interception, he should have caught the ball.
I was saying at minimum he should have prevented it. Agree he really should have caught it. Plus, I also think Vrabel could easily have been called for a tripping penalty, or leg whip, or whatever they call that.

 :goodposting: :goodposting: I have been saying it throughout the thread. Blitz, blitz, and blitz. There should be 5 rushers at all times. There were 3 on that td.

How about a tripping call on Vrabel?
This is why I hate the Pats, they never get called for anything in the playoffs, I swear to God.
I agree that it seems like the Pats get all the calls, no doubt. But that wasn't even close to a trip.
Apparently we're not watching the same game because Vrabel clearly kicked his leg out at Rivers to cause him to fall.
Right...I don't care who wins really although it wuld be great to see the PAts lose, but nonetheless it was tripping/leg whip...it was obvious.

I remember that divisional game against the Broncos a couple years ago. Man the Pats were getting all the calls that night.

The probem with the Chargers is that there are no signs that they can get IN THE ENDZONE.

And now Rivers is back to being Rivers. IF LT is 90% healthy then you either play him or give up in this game.

Just checked the Vrabel play. You guys are right, wasn't even subtle, he intentionally whipped his leg at Rivers. Surprised it wasn't called. Wow.

why oh why do you throw the ball up like that? make it a long game not INTs and give NE as many opportunities as possible to win it.

Very effective and deliberate leg whip.
Hmmm, I have to check that out on my DVR. I think I might have missed it.
It was a great play. Definitely stopped the already hobbled Q.B. from stepping into the throw.
Because no flag was thrown, right?
If a flag was thrown, and I would have had I been the umpire, it would have been a stupid play. Its the playoffs. One and done. Only results count now, not style points.

QB Tom Brady's 12-yard touchdown pass to WR Jabar Gaffney in the second quarter marks the 14th straight playoff game that Brady has thrown at least one TD pass.

That ranks as the second best mark in NFL history. The best mark is Brett Favre, whose ongoing streak is 17 games.

Just watched the replay of the first INT; that was a clear and deliberate leg whip by Vrabel. It wasn't like his leg bumped him. He threw his leg up into the air at Rivers. That was as plain as day.

I figured it woul be close in the first half then NE would run away in the second...its shaping up to be blowout sooner than I expected.

Announcers must be on the take too. When I saw it I thought it was obvious and flagrant. Figured I should check here to see if anyone else saw it.Looked he was deliberately going for the leg with a kick/trip. I rewound it several times and watched it over and over in full speed. Geesh, he even follows through with the kick after contact. If that isn't an obvious flag I don't know what is.

 The 2nd replay they showed (the overhead view) makes it painfully obvious to anyone with two eyes.

Looked like Marco Ruas against Paul Varlens.

New England has Tom Brady and Kyle Brady. The back of their jerseys just read Brady. Are they the only NFL team to not put T. Brady, or K. Brady?

glad they are reviewing Sproles run...couldn't see when it was coming out.

Looks to be no fumble though

Sorry. No clue who you're talking about. Not sure if you're trying to agree with me or just trying to mock me.Stuff like this takes away from a glory of a dominant Patriots team that I expect to roll to a title. Even if they flagged that play I would still expect NE to win.
