Not if you play for New England.Vrabel leg whipped Rivers...that's illegal, no?

I agree that it seems like the Pats get all the calls, no doubt. But that wasn't even close to a trip. This is why I hate the Pats, they never get called for anything in the playoffs, I swear to God.How about a tripping call on Vrabel?
I was saying at minimum he should have prevented it. Agree he really should have caught it. Plus, I also think Vrabel could easily have been called for a tripping penalty, or leg whip, or whatever they call that. It's not even prevent the interception, he should have caught the ball. That's gonna hurt. On replay, it appeared that Vrabel tripped Rivers. Chambers really should have prevented that interception.
PRESSURE.FFS, any QB in the NFL could sit back there for that long and throw 50 touchdowns, so why in the world are you going to let the league's best do it?
I have been saying it throughout the thread. Blitz, blitz, and blitz. There should be 5 rushers at all times. There were 3 on that td.We better make a call to the authorities...This is why I hate the Pats, they never get called for anything in the playoffs, I swear to God.How about a tripping call on Vrabel?
Apparently we're not watching the same game because Vrabel clearly kicked his leg out at Rivers to cause him to fall.I agree that it seems like the Pats get all the calls, no doubt. I guess soVery effective and deliberate leg whip.
Hmmm, I have to check that out on my DVR. I think I might have missed it.Very effective and deliberate leg whip.
Probablygame ovah
Right...I don't care who wins really although it wuld be great to see the PAts lose, but nonetheless it was tripping/leg whip...it was obvious.Apparently we're not watching the same game because Vrabel clearly kicked his leg out at Rivers to cause him to fall.I agree that it seems like the Pats get all the calls, no doubt. It was a great play. Definitely stopped the already hobbled Q.B. from stepping into the throw.Hmmm, I have to check that out on my DVR. I think I might have missed it.Very effective and deliberate leg whip.
Because no flag was thrown, right? It was a great play. Definitely stopped the already hobbled Q.B. from stepping into the throw.Hmmm, I have to check that out on my DVR. I think I might have missed it.Very effective and deliberate leg whip.
Just rewound and watched it again. He tripped him.I agree that it seems like the Pats get all the calls, no doubt. But that wasn't even close to a trip. This is why I hate the Pats, they never get called for anything in the playoffs, I swear to God.How about a tripping call on Vrabel?
If a flag was thrown, and I would have had I been the umpire, it would have been a stupid play. Its the playoffs. One and done. Only results count now, not style points.Because no flag was thrown, right? It was a great play. I wonder who Rivers will play for his short throw.
Announcers must be on the take too. When I saw it I thought it was obvious and flagrant. Figured I should check here to see if anyone else saw it.Looked he was deliberately going for the leg with a kick/trip. I rewound it several times and watched it over and over in full speed. Geesh, he even follows through with the kick after contact. If that isn't an obvious flag I don't know what is.Very effective and deliberate leg whip.
FixedI'd rather have Mickey Joan Rivers at QB.

Stevie "Sparkplug" SmithI kinda dig that IBM commercial.
FixedI'd rather have Mickey Rivers Rooney at QB.![]()
Sorry. No clue who you're talking about. Not sure if you're trying to agree with me or just trying to mock me.Stuff like this takes away from a glory of a dominant Patriots team that I expect to roll to a title. Even if they flagged that play I would still expect NE to win.Looked like Marco Ruas against Paul Varlens.Announcers must be on the take too. When I saw it I thought it was obvious and flagrant.
