I would guess the Rays are going with:

Shields

Kazmir

Garza

Sonnanstine

then either Sheilds or Kaz if game 5 is needed

Thu: 2:30

Fri: 6:00

How will the Twins or Sox staff be set up after tonight? Will they be back in order by Thurs?

Going to Friday's game...planning on being there by 4. Tailgating at a Rays game...nothing like it!

 
rays in 5. and thats a stretch. gonna be a GREAT series. sox could make it happen. need a good game from javy...

i dont trust the rays staff in the postseason...hopefully they prove me wrong, been a fan all year.

plus my uncle said he'd buy us WS tix if the cubs played in tampa....

 
The Sox MUST keep their defense tight and certainly a lot of the vets will need to step up their play on the offensive side. If the Sox can execute some small ball action to get some speed on the base paths it will be a great series. Not liking the fact that the Sox are playing in a dome but it is imperative that they steal one from the Rays in TB. I like the fact that the Sox have been clinging to the edge for the last three games. Moxie baby!

Me and about 100,000 Sox fans! I even spoke with Mayor Daley this past Saturday and he thought they were done. Keep the stalking up creep. I like when you follow me around and pollute every thread with your intense desire to prove you are something other than a creep.

I predict that I won't quit on them while they're still alive.
 
White Sox might as well forfeit game 1 if Javy is on the mound. Buerhle or Floyd will probably win a game, and Danks may take the series to 5 games, but that is as far as it goes for the Sox. Rays in 5.

Due to Javy Vasquez getting the game one start, Burls(started Sunday), Floyd(Monday). and Danks(Tuesday) will be rested. I'm assuming MB will go in game 5 if necessary. I wish Jose Contreras was still healthy, at least that guy pitches well in big games.
 
They won't hold Danks until game 4 will they? He's killed the Rays this year.

I figured they were going:

Javy

Buehrle

Danks

Floyd

Buehrle

I'll be surprised if that's not the rotation.

I was just looking at this, and I have no idea what they do. My gut tells me it's Floyd if it the series is 2-0 Sox or tied up. If it's 2-0 Rays, Danks goes. I'm really looking forward to the Buerhle / Kazmir match up. This should be a great game and will probably be a must win for the Sox with the way Javy's been pitching lately.If the Sox can get out of TB tied, I think they have a great chance to win this series. But even if they are down 2-0, they've proven that you can't count them out. I'd be surprised if this didn't go 5.
 
This has the makings of a great series. I hope that is the case. If the WS can get 7 solid inning from Javy in game one that would be great. They need to get some 2 out hits as well . It seems this year they have left an enormous amount of baserunners stranded due to a shortage of clutch hitting.

Good Luck to Tampa and their fans. As a Sox fan I feel very fortunate to still be playing after watching some bad baseball to finish the season leading up to that incredible last weekend and tiebreak game.

Should be a really good series. I wish I could watch the whole game today, but I have to leave for work in the middle of it.

3-1 Sox...the debacle known as D'Wayne Wise(really Shields...Wise...c'mon...) hits a 3 run jack. With no-nuts Javy on the mound, the WhiteSox still need 7 more or so...

Seriously, bring in Richard...this is the most-important game of the series(what is it...95% success rate after a game 1 win?) and they throw a little girl in game 1? Mrs. Vazquez better be pitching in Seattle next year...
