No love for little Pittman on these boards.

With SJax seemingly injured every week, it doesnt take a genius to figure the Rams will just shut down SJ for the season and not risk a career ending injury to their prized player.

So that leaves Pittman with a real nice playoff schedule and only Kenneth Darby as competition to him.

They say he has started 4 games in a row but only the NE and last week was he really the feature back and he had 80+ yards in both with an average of 3 receptions per game.

Lets get this bandwagon filled.

Might have jumped off a year too early. Drafted him in all of my dyno's, dropped him in all preseason, he was scooped up in one as a handcuff to SJax during one draft, and I missed him on waivers in the other two a few weeks ago.

Boo me.

But it does take a pessimist. Why would STL shut him down? He should sit another week or so then come back.

How about last season? STL wasn't exactly playing for 'the prize.' His injury was worse last season. I think he plays to try to get some wins and sell tickets.

And yes, I am an SJax owner.

It's a bad sign the Rams did this so early. Jackson visited a specialist over the weekend who discovered "a little bit of blood in (the thigh)," coach Jim Haslett said. "They feel he should be out this week, and rest him, and see what happens next week."Seems to me if i had to bet that SJAX will shut it down for the year the way this is heading

I have Pittman on a few teams and would love to see him become a factor. I just can't get motivated to climb on board because I don't see it happening. Oh Please, let me be wrong on this one!

Well being that I'm an SJax owner I guess I have to climb aboard, I'm just hoping SJax gets healthy by the playoffs.

Pittman looked good last week, but my only concern is the aforementioned Pace injury/OL woes and the fact that the team may continue to be forced to abandon the run early in most games.

Pace is a blow but a starting RB is a starting RB, and if Pittman can get a few Receptions i can easily see 12 Point weeks from him at the least

Agreed, although Darby got a ton of receptions last week - was that in blow out time or was he mixed in liberally with Pittman?

Anyone else starting Pitt this week?Bears have been run on lately like no other team
huh? I acknowledge Grant had a monster week last week, but you are exaggerating their demise as a rush defense. Besides Grant, the only 2 teams to have good rushing games against them were MIN (Adrien Peterson) and CAR (Williams/Stewart). I certainly wouldn't expect StL to run all over them this week.
