Good day for me yesterday, hit two overs, and only lost a small parlay play....stupid ChiSox can't hit OR play defense. Oh well.

Early action I like

Cubs -1.5 (Hill)

St Louis -1.5 (Wells)

I haven't looked at any of the late games yet. Hill is pitching well, and Patterson is not. Yesterday the Nats jumped out to a 4-0lead in the first and still lost. Bad News Nats here, let's fade them.

Houston offense is a mess right now. They are constantly falling behind in games, and just not playing well. Albers was a BP pitcher his last outing, and the last time Wells fast the Stros in Houston, he was very good.

We shall see.

g'luck

1-1 yesterday. :bag:

Today's Plays:

Brewer's -157 (Suppan)

Reds -135 (Harang)

Each for $100.00

G'LUCK :(

Hopefully we all know each other well enough to take some ribbing. I know I have done this before my self. I just have to say I read this post after I saw the Astros final score and I almost drowned on my drink laughing so hard. :) OMG that is funny.***I am sure I just jinxed myself for a week but I dont care********Guru you need to pretend that never happened. On a side note what is up with the Yankees? 0-1 in the 5thMy over 11 is not looking good.

What about tonight. Antone have info on Lincecum? WTF is heLine is Lincecum +122
I'm passing, but in my opinion, play would be Philly. Hamels is pretty good, and has pitched in the majors already. Lincecum is coming in with a lot of hype, but yet to throw a pitch in the majors. Plus, Bonds is not playing tonight, who the hell is going to drive in runs for the Giants? I'm going to watch, but no play for me.

.29 ERA in 31 innings? for AAA Grizzlies

F it I took Lincecum +122 and I took Philly/SF O8 +100

SF seems to like night games also. If Lincecum doesn't squirt all over himself in the beginning I may have a shot at this. My day is already bad. I figure the day day stays bad or I recover a little.

I dont know if you saw the highlights of it yesterday but they had a shot of Garcia running into a cart while fielding balls at batting practice. Looked like it left a pretty good welt on his shin. It is pretty funny to see his team mates  until they see he is not getting up so fast then they were all

RIght there with ya in the NBA as well 1-6 overall today :goodposting:
Here's was The Syndicate's card yesterday...Phoenix Suns -4.5 (thought it was good in the first half, but hated watching the 2nd)

Washington Nationals ML (thanks Chad Cordero, you useless urinal cake)

Red Sox RL (Thought this one was in the bag all game long. Then 3 runs go in the bottom of the 8th. Efff Me).

Rangers/Blue Jays Over 10.5 (never had a chance. Remember when the Rangers hit?)

Tigers/Royals Under 10.5 (Tigers had 13 by themselves. I'm officially done with Grienke forever).

Mets ML (Read somewhere they had won 457 games in a row over Arizona).

And I would have played SFO +122 yesterady had JTC not talked me out of that one. 0-6 on the day as it is, could have been 0-7.

I hope the puking is over for now.

Back at it...

Indians/Orioles Under 10.5 -115.....

Looking at Atlanta and under 9 tonight.

Pads just beat Florida 2 out of 3 on the road, which is nice. However, they had hardly any extra base hits. This is a team that needs to string together 3 or more hits to make one run. Their only 'big' bat is Adrian Gonzalez who struggles against lefties and Chuck James has a kind of jerky delivery which should give the Padres hitters fits.

Padres throw out there Chris Young, who is a good, but hittable pitcher. I think the heart of the Braves lineup is capable of going deep off of him a few times, and I think the Braves can win a 4-2 type game here. Still undecided, just what I like so far.

Time to get back on track...

Parlay Seattle Mariners +150 with Seattle/NY OVER 11 -110, pays 7 to 1.

Straight Bets

Los Angeles Dodgers/Florida Marlins under 8½ -120 f

Philadelphia Phillies/Arizona Diamondbacks under 9 +100

I'm really surprised after his stupid outfield collision and really bruised up shin that Freddy Garcia is still on schedule for tonight.

No doubt - I just booked Airzona -107 for the game ACTION, not listed, figuring if it turns out he can't go during warmups or some such nonsense the AZ odds could only get worse.I am also on SD + 106 - Chase play - could have gotten a better number during the day :whoosh:COL/STL O 8.5 - 120: I have little faith in either starterGLTA

Just a headsup but when you bet ACTION, you get stuck with the adjusted odds with the new starter. Your bet still stands but you won't have Arz -107 anymore. Now if you didn't check ACTION your bet would be cancelled of course.I don't know why the col/stl over just went from -115 to -105 at bodog. Could be that Preston Wilson and Duncan are out of the lineup (Wilson is horrible though - the kid they brought up will be fine). That said my card is similar to yours:San Diego +110Florida +120Arz -105Col/Stl o8.5 -115

We hit both our total plays last night to bust out of a mini slump..back on track now..

Tampa-Baltimore OVER 10.5 -105- It was only a couple of weeks ago that any OVER with Jae Seo on the mound meant instacash. He had a nice start last night out and Im not buying two of those in a row, going back to the well that was good to us, Tampa pen is brutal on top of it all.

Anaheim -115- Ervin Santana a different pitcher at home, this is a good price on him seeing that Cliff Lee was really bad in his first start of the year. Its still spring training for Cliff right now.

Milwaukee-Wash UNDER 9.5-120- We know the Nationals have trouble manufacturing runs anyway and Dave Bush is a better pitcher than he has shown so far. The Brewers struggled against Matt Chico last night so its possible they are slumping too, we think there is some cushion here for an under play.

Cincinatti -105- We know its Milton but Rodriguez is no better for Houston. This is just a good spot for the Reds to get of the schnide as they have a very winnable home game here.

Very nice writeups JTC. It helps quite a bit to know why people are taking sides. I don't think anybody here tails/fades others based purely on a selection. Or rarely, at least...

Col/Stl O 9.5 + 100: both starters are bad IMHO

NYM +102: I am looking for the NYM to stop the current slide they are in on the west coast

TB/Balt O 10.5 - 105: both starters are bad and the TB pen just got worse with two suspensions and Balt pen is somewhat gassed after the series with the tribe

FWIW - I agree with the syndicate about ANA, just have not played it

Today I like all of the dog plays. The only one that is not a dog play is Az. Az has been a very streaky team and I like them to sweep the series here. As soon as Az loses I will lay off as it will probably be a 4-5 game losing streak. We will see if this pattern continues.

Like I said the rest are Dog Plays.

"Kansas City is 10-23 overall this season and 6-13 at home, while Oakland is a respectable 10-8 on the road and 5-2 when Dan Haren takes the mound.

Dan Haren takes the mound for Oakland and he has a 2.11 ERA over his last 3 starts and a 1.75 ERA overall this season. Haren boasts a WHIP of 0.797 over his past 3 starts, 0.889 on the road, and 0.928 overall. Haren is 2-1 in his career against Kansas City with an ERA of 2.49 and 1.154 WHIP.

Oakland is 8-2 (80%) against Kansas City over the past 3 seasons.

Kansas City hands the ball to Gil Meche who has been horrible over career against Oakland. Gil is 2-7 against Oakland with a 4.60 ERA and 1.611 WHIP. His team is 4-10 against Oakland when he is on the mound"

1-3 yesterday and one wild pitch away from being 2-2. In either case, not a good day.

Im liking Texas-NY over 10. Mussina is not going the distance we know that and once into the Yankees pen, anything can happen. Yanks should be able to get to Tejeda fairly easy so there should be a lot of runs scored tonight.

Giants +131- Good spot for the home dog here, Mets are too inconsistent right now.

I'm sure GM will have others....

7-2 Yesterday and 1-1 on the parlays.

Wednesday Plays:

Mets O5 -105

Athletics -121

Orioles -135

Rockies/Cardinals O8 -120

Nationals/Brewers O8.5 -105

ML Parlay: Brewers, Yankees, Tigers (same as yesterday)

ML Parlay #2: Brewers, Mets, Marlins, Tigers, Yankees, Red Sox, Braves, Cubs

RL Parlay: Brewers, Tigers, Yankees, Red Sox, Braves

Early action, I played 08 in the Cards/Rocks game (-110)

I also like the Brewers and u8.5 in the other game...but didn't play

Tonight, I like the o10.5 in the Yankees game....haven't played it yet though

Giants +126 are a play. Good home dog here. Mets offense still languishing.Oakland -119 with Haren on the bump. Better team, better SP, decent figure to back the chalk.

Tampa/Balt UNDER 8.5 +105. Bedard is a different pitcher with Hernandez catching him. He was out all of April and now that he's back, look for Bedard to turn it up. Shields is on a tear right now. His last three starts have gone late into games and he's compiled 29K vs 4BB. That's getting it done.

Col/St Louis OVER 8 +100. I think St. Louis is overdue for some offensive fireworks. Hirsh hasn't been bad, but he has been hittable. Same with Wainright. I like both offenses to get some runs in early to cross over the total.

Passed on the Yankees as I just cannot trust the woeful Rangers offense right now. Also split on the Wash/Mil game. I liked Vargas and the RL today, but JTC was right to point out that Bergman has been solid. No play there.

Also took the Jazz -3.5 later in sHoops.

Wow, we posted at the exact same time - great minds think alike?
IN.

travelling - just booked TB +125 - only play today.

Shields is underrated IMHO and I think it is a good price on what I view as a even matchup
