***Official Big Brother Thread*** No Spoilers Starts 7/6 (4 Viewers)

So....evidently Matt received hand action from Raven last night.  He then cleaned himself off in the kitchen with one of the towels and then used the same towel to clean some dishes.
Cameron is more interesting than both of these dolts combined. They could do raunchy sex in the living room and still be boring.

She did not choose wisely.
Despite the fact that Cody said he was going to let her make the decisions after he returned, he basically talked her into keeping the noms the same when she didn't want to.

Side note: Raven is the worst liar I've seen in a long time.

Cody is truly amazing - a beast in comps but a complete idiot about game play.  Frankly, while Josh is the most annoying BB player ever (for me) I think Ramses deserves to go  - he's done nothing and when his chance to win something comes up he's sucked.  Jen should have trusted her instincts and taken Ramses down.

I truly despise Cody & Jessica, but everyone else is so completely inept in comps except for Paul. It is becoming unwatchable, but I do hope Ramses gets axed, he's pathetic but josh is still a little b@@@@.

I am getting on board with having Josh and his meatball comments around for awhile.  He is super annoying in his DR sessions but I think he will make this entertaining (in the train wreck sort of way)  the next couple weeks.

Paul is so far ahead of this cast, reminds me of Boston Rob's season of survivor where everyone just did everything he said the entire time.

For whatever reason I find myself rooting for Jessica and Cody, probably because I can't stand Paul.
Last nights episode got me behind Jessica. Didn't care for her outside of eye candy before this episode, but she impressed me with how they showed her this week. Winning the HOH and also the veto was surprisong to me and her game seems better then just latching on to Cody like some of the other showmances seem to be

yea its unfortunate the showmance/Cody is killing her game. I think she could have worked her way back in with the house if he hadn't have come back.

Yeah....on top of everything else they could have used it to make a deal with Ramses (if we take you down you never vote for us, swear on your mother).  Then during the veto meeting say, "we have to put someone on the block that will convince all the other houseguests to vote out Josh....Paul, take a seat".

:goodposting:

Thought the same thing when she started questioning herself last night.  We really only saw Jess interact 1on1 with Raven about the vote, I would have liked to have seen other conversations (besides Paul gathering his disciples).  This makes me think it could have been a production work last night against Ramses and Josh still might go home.  Jason, Mark, Kev and Xmas are still wildcard votes IMO.

Trying to find a line of thought for Cody, all I can come up with is that they have Jess' power still, so why make another strong enemy to get one strong enemy out?  This is hard to justify because they have a bunch of enemies in the house.  Apparently they forgot pawns get axed routinely in the BB house.

Poor decision by jess telling everyone about the temptation. Should have waited out the week and see what happens imo.

I would probably pull for Jess if she wasn't with that turd burglar Cody. What a tool. Nice to see his comeuppance.

Jess and Cody seem to be awful people. I don't care for awful people. Cody being happy Josh was miserable was disgusting. And why Jess remotely finds him attractive tells me all I need to know about her character.

my guess was she knew she was screwed by most of the house. With 3 votes going their way, and they new Elena and Cody, she had to assume that Kevin wasn't on her side. Since she made the mistake of telling him, i thought it made sense to just tell everyone since she could assume that Kevin would share that info anyway

Totally disagree.  By mentioning she can keep them safe, she may keep them from putting her and Cody up this week, thereby extending the stay.  No one wants to waste his HOH.  Paul will put up Mark and Elena instead, and then she can save herself and Cody next week. I think "I have a thing that negates your HOH" was a smart play.

She told them "for a few weeks".

Backdoor one of them, make her use it imo.  You still have numbers regardless.

eta - nm im jumping in on a separate discussion

Didn't like the timing, even if Kevin spills it (she could have talked to him again) she could have said it later and had the same affect. Paul will figure something out to have her waste it im thinking, he has more time now to think.

I'm thinking she was just bitter about how it went down and wanted to shove it in everyone's face. Seemed like her reaction anyways.

it seemed a little more thought out based on the end of the episode where they were having an open conversation with Paul about the vote. who knows, but i guess we will see how it plays out.

my vote for the worst player this season right now might be that Mark dude. he seems like a total mess, and for being a gym rat he seems incapable of winning any of the competitions

Naturally they don't actually know what power she has.  Even if she tells them, a shrewd player will question her truthfulness.
I understand the dislike for Cody and Jess, together they are playing a terrible game.  She might have been able to play better without him, but not sure.  I like him just for his matter of fact attitude and how he's never seemed impressed with Paul's "celebrity".

Along those lines, as mentioned in an earlier post, I completely dislike the sheep following Paul.  If you have watched the show, enough to want to be on it, then you should question everything, and trust nobody completely.  Talk to others!

My perfect example of this is from Alex's HOH week:
*Paul goes up to Alex and proposes a nomination plan, and convinces her.
*Paul then goes downstairs and tells others (can't remember who) that Alex has come up with this great plan.
*These others then go up to Alex and say they like this plan.

All it takes is them saying "Paul says you came up with this plan", and her replying "well, Paul is the one that came up with it."  Wait a minute, that's not what he said .....

He convinces her and makes her feel like it was her idea, or at least their idea together.  She probably wouldn't have replied that way or even thought that way for that matter.

I'm fine with people letting Paul run the show the first month here, and can get why they would (he has won HoH twice now), come august I am hoping these guys will take some shots at him when the fat has been trimmed.

Re: Jessica's week, Cody LET HER WIN the POV so she wouldn't complain about having that crap in her hair, so her wonderful week wasn't that shiny after all.

Re: Kevin telling Jessica about the plan to take out Ramses over Josh is mind boggling, mainly because Kevin still voted Ramses out.  Only conclusion I can come up with is that he's trying to gain their trust but if JODY do the math, they will realize Kevin voted Ramses so why, why why?

Re: Jessica announcing to all that she has this special power, to me it's a bad move.  The way I see it for Paul, why not put up Jessica and Cody up, then she has to use her power, meaning they are both fair game to be up on the block next week, right?

Disagree on Kevin - his social game has everybody believing he's a great, honest guy but his voting has, IMO, been intentional to make others look like they are the ones going back on deals.  The problem he has is he will need to eventual win some comps to go far and I'm not sure he can.

As for the kissing up to Paul - it is kind of crazy that Cody is the only one who has seen through the fact that Paul is running everything.  Seems like Mark wised up but only after it was obvious.  If Jess/Cody/Mark can make it a couple more weeks without going home and get Elena on board then it could be interesting.  I still think Jess will look back at not using POV on Ramses as where she lost the game.

So if baby Jessica uses her temptation this week, its done & she can't use it again correct? They have been vague on exactly how it works.  and if its used the whole eviction is stopped & no replacements?

Cody is a terrible player. In the diary room, he has, on several occasions, commented on how much better a player Jessica is than he. Yet, he constantly tries to run the game and get her to do what he wants. It makes zero sense. Its like he recognizes what he sees, but his ego wont let it happen.

hahaha this.  Jessica needs to stop letting him do this.

What is the tatted guys name - Matt?  Dude plays the Temptation game because Paul asks and then Paul talks about a pawn and he volunteers.  Paul could go around asking for somebody to hold his junk while he takes a piss and this guy would sign up.

I think if she uses it no one gets evicted and they go strait to the next HOH comp.

I've liked the season so far, but its not good because the players are good.  This is probably the worst set of players I've seen since I've been watching.  Matt and Raven do nothing, I thought Ramses might be good but his exit interview made him seem pathetic (he floundered because Jillian was evicted???), Josh is just there til Paul decides to get rid of him, JODY is there thanks to production, Paul is there because of production....Kevin and Paul the only good players?

I like Jason and Alex, I guess I'm rooting for them now.   I don't really have a personal favorite at this point.

I realize that I have a purple pony for my avatar and that this thread is random strangers discussing a reality TV show, but... can we please not use J-ody or any other Brenjelina code names for couples?  I have so little dignity left, I want to keep it and cherish it.

But I agree.  :coffee:

I don't know if Paul has another choice other than to put up Cody and Jessica.  Make her use her play now.  She will only be able to take 1 off, and the other is at risk depending on Power of Veto and Elena gets put up as the lamb.  Question, does Jess have to do it before or after Power of Veto?  With Mark and that despicable Josh not eligible, he doesn't have much choice.  May still have the votes to break up Cody and Jessica anyway.  Is there a play I'm missing?

I believe she doesn't use it until the live voting starts.  Then at that point the week ends with no eviction.  They go to the next HOH.  No replacement nominations.

I think this is correct.

We really need a spoilers thread...

Jessica could still tell everyone she can halt the eviction for the next 3 weeks.  They don't know its only good once.

Jess had a snug look when Paul presented his nominations but then when they showed Jess in the DR, she looks depressed and played.  I think this was the move that Paul HAD to do and make Jess make her play with the hex advantage.

As for those who complain about this season, you should try to watch the Canadian version of Big Brother.  First off, it's low budget, no twists and waaaay slow paced.  The American version is refreshing and seems like they are always coming up with new tricks and gimmicks to change it up.
