Not so sure about that. Jerry Rice always said that Montana threw a soft, "catchable" ball, and that he had a tougher time with Steve Young (not just because he was a lefty). Maybe Quinn's ball will be more user-friendly. Most agree that DA throws a better deep ball than Quinn, though.Yea, the dude has a serious case of the dropsies right now. QB is irrelevant.

...or Braylon Blinders. But, I guess for his first game it's to be expected to play the short passing game. Boo hoo for my Braylon!Looks like Quinn has horse blinders on except for the TE.
In the second half, or next week the DCs will try to take the TE away from Quinn.Young QBs check down real quick to the Te and RBs....or Braylon Blinders. But, I guess for his first game it's to be expected to play the short passing game. Most of us get the evidence from watching games and noticing lots of check down passes from young QBs. I'd be quite surprised if green quarterbacks don't throw a higher percentage of check downs than vets, but I guess it's possible.I'm not sure that I have evidence to the contrary, but I'd certainly like to see evidence to support that idea.Seems to be a widely held belief. A new quarterback's best friend isn't the team's deep threat. It's the team's ground game and the tight end. Your expectations for BE are unrealistic.

I haven't noticed that. But I could be wrong; that's why I'd like to see some evidence. The vast majority of Matt Ryan's passes appear to be to WRs.http://www.nfl.com/teams/statistics?team=ATLI'm not sure that I have evidence to the contrary, but I'd certainly like to see evidence to support that idea.Seems to be a widely held belief. Agreed. DA would have put up sick #s.War Eagle said:HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHACLEVELAND BLOWS!Brady Quinn looked bad but he was propped up by a HORRIBLE Denver D! If you don't think that DA could have burned Denver for 300+ and 3TDs you are in DENIAL!
